Forza Horizon 4 - Microsoft Store EUROPE Digital Key

Forza Horizon 4 - Microsoft Store EUROPE Digital Key

Forza Horizon 4 is an open world racing game where players compete against other players who are online, but in a way that means that you do not have to engage with them if you feel like some alone time. The game can also be played offline if necessary, if your internet is down, or you feel like going your own way for a bit. Set in a fictionalised and truncated version of the United Kingdom, the game is the eleventh Forza game and the fourth in the Forza Horizon series.About the GameThe version of the UK featured comprises Edinburgh; the Lake District, especially Derwentwater; and the Cotswolds, amongst other beautiful and well-known British places. The game is set amongst predominantly rural settings, namely forests, farmlands and small villages, giving a gentle and intimate feel to your explorations.Players can choose from up to 450 different cars, and can play in groups of up to 72 players per server, all in a synchronised, shared world. Each vehicle has been individually designed so it ‘feels’ different to the last – you could turn down the difficulty of a particular section or race, or you could have fun switching vehicles until you get the ideal car for that specific race and ace it!There are plenty of side quests, alongside the main story arc, to keep you busy and entertained, each with their own progress bar so you can see how close to completion you are.Getting StartedWhen you first login, there is a prologue series of events that walks players through the game’s many features and introduces concepts like the changing seasons – more about which can be found below. In the prologue, you get to sample a good flavour of the overall game including being able to play each season for five hours or so, easily long enough to enjoy a good sampling of the joys ahead in the full game.Once through the tutorial prologue, you can choose where to go next: exploring the map, trying to run over sheep (fortunately, you will not succeed), or building combos. You can play alone, ignoring the other players on the field, or you can challenge them to Player vs Player contests. Do note, even though you can challenge them , you can’t otherwise physically interact with them (and vice versa) unless you are actively grouped together. In other words, if someone wants to upset your win, and tries to drive into you, they will pass harmlessly through you: a relief to anyone doing particularly well on a round that they don’t want messed up by some passing random! To Everything There is a SeasonThe game’s main USP is the seasonal changes that occur throughout the whole world at the same time. These fixed seasons mean that all players experience the same climate conditions at the same time, offering a fair playing field and also encouraging players to fully explore the open world sandbox not just once, but four different time, seeing all the differences and difficulties that each season brings. For example, in winter Derwentwater freezes over enabling players to drive onto the ice to reach areas that are otherwise inaccessible. Seasonal changes occur on the Thursday, and each ‘season’ lasts for a week, so there is plenty of time to enjoy the full experience of each climatic change. To add even more interest, there are always season specific events going on, including:daily bounty challenges weekly bounty challenges Unique events which change frequently

Frostpunk Complete Collection - Xbox EUROPE Digital Key

Frostpunk Complete Collection - Xbox EUROPE Digital Key

Frostpunk for PC is a city building, survival game set in an alternate reality in the UK at around 1886 when twin volcanic eruptions (those of Tambora and Krakatoa, which occurred in real life, but in 1815 and 1883 respectively, not simultaneously) decimate the world, ruining crops in the field, darkening the sun for a time, and causing the death of millions of people all over the world. ABOUT THE GAME There are a number of scenarios to play through – see below for more information – but the premise in each scenario is similar. The player starts out as one of a small party of survivors, working to rebuild aspects of society. There are workers and engineers in the group and you are given a small amount of supplies and resources to start you off. Players must harvest extra supplies: food, wood, steel and coal to help the fledgling society get back on their feet, despite the vagaries of an unpredictable weather system which sometimes seems to be set against the survivors’ success. A DELICATE BALANCE It is possible to implement laws that will cause discontent, such as forcing workers to work twenty-four hour shifts, or making child labour laws that make youngsters work alongside adults. These laws should be used with caution and stopped as soon as possible, perhaps being balanced with more positive laws such as providing better healthcare, or allowing more food for those who need it. Systems such as Order and Faith, provide laws and religious beliefs to assuage the population, while provisions such as workshops enable craftsmen to spring up, creating useful resources and tools for the society’s benefit. VARIOUS SCENARIOS TO CHOOSE BETWEEN A New Home: this is the ‘main’ story arc and the one that most players will opt for the first time they play through. An expeditionary force has left London to look for a rumoured coal reserve in the north of the country. A splinter group has become separated from the main group of explorers, and stumbles across a huge heat source in a crater. They settle there as they explore the area and find deserted city that drives home just how much trouble they’re in The Arks: youthful scientists prepare a number of arks to preserve specimens of plants and crops for potential future generations to use to regenerate the earth and support the human population. They are sited near a generator hidden in a glacier, but are faced with the dilemma of choosing between aiding a nearby town that is struggling or staying on task with their arks The Refugees: in this scenario, the player is the leader of a group of refugees who have sought authority over a generator originally intended for the use of wealthy groups. The player must balance the population between class rifts, aiming for a truly equal society, but finding that divides constantly arise. Fresh waves of refugees constantly arrive, in need of precious resources to keep them alive: including the now dispossessed formerly wealthy people. The player must decide to let them in or turn them away The Fall of Winterholme: this DLC scenario shows the fall of a city due to mismanagement in the run up to the eruptions. The player needs to restore control and establish a sustainable flow of resources to the population – but no sooner is this achieved than he or she learns the generator powering the city is doomed to failure and must put into place and action a mass evacuation before it is too late Endless mode: this scenario can last mere minutes, or it can go on for hours! You have to build a city and survive for as long as possible, fighting off enemies, harvesting and distributing resources sensibly and generally keeping society going as best you can. The game ends when your civilisation fails
