Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood - A Fistful of Redemption is the third, after Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot and Guns, Love and Tentacles, a large expansion for Borderlands 3. DLC was developed by Gearbox studio, which was also responsible for the base version of the game.
Story
The expansion is kept in the atmosphere of a western. We go to the planet Gehenna, which was formerly the site of testing new weapons and biological experiments. After the corporations abandoned their outposts, the genetically modified beasts and their guardians who formed the Devil Riders gang remained in the wasteland. As they began to terrorize the small town of Vestige, the local sheriff appointed a bounty on the heads of its members. The heroes decide to take this opportunity to earn money.
Gameplay
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood - A Fistful of Redemption is a classically made expansion. The production does not introduce major changes to the gameplay mechanisms, focusing instead on delivering new content. So we get a first-person shooter with RPG elements, in which the fun revolves around fighting and gathering better and better equipment and weapons. The DLC offers new locations, missions, items and enemies.
An interesting element of the expansion is the fact that our actions during the campaign translate into changes in the town of Vestige and the lives of its inhabitants. An additional attraction is a new category of vehicles in the form of jetbeasts, which can be upgraded and modified. In addition, the planet of Gehenna is full of dangerous elements of the environment that we use in combat, such as weeds that mesmerize enemies or plants that throw us high into the air. The DLC is designed for highly advanced characters, but you can also create a new hero at a sufficiently high level of development.
