One Piece: World Seeker is an open-world action adventure game released for PC, PS4 and XONE. The project was developed by the Japanese studio Ganbarion, with such titles as Pandora's Tower or One Piece: Unlimited World Red.
As the title suggests, the game is an adaptation of the One Piece brand, which is the most popular manga in history. The action takes place in a land that combines elements of a pirate story with a fantasy reality.
While playing, we play the role of the main character of the comic book prototype, i.e. a corsair named Monkey D. Luffy. By eating the magical Gomu Gomu fruit, his body has acquired the properties of rubber, which allows him to stretch it in an unnatural way.
Released on PC, PS4 and XONE One Piece: World Seeker is an action adventure game set in a large open world. The player has full freedom to explore the map, which is filled with numerous tasks pushing the main storyline forward, as well as many optional side activities. We observe the events from a camera placed behind the protagonist's back. The exploration of the world is facilitated by Luffy's superhuman abilities. For example, he can stretch his arm over a dozen meters, grab a distant object with it, and then attract himself to it. We also spend a lot of time playing during combat, where the hero's special skills play a key role again, and the player has the opportunity to use many of the techniques and attacks known from the manga. The fun is diversified by platforming challenges and stealth sections, requiring avoidance of detection by enemies.
