Doraemon Story of Seasons is a spin-off of a series of farming RPGs called Story of Seasons. The production was developed by Marvelous and Brownies studios, and it was based on the license of the popular manga, which was also adapted in the form of an anime series.
Story
The main character of Doraemon Story of Seasons is a boy named Nobita, known from the original; he is accompanied by a cat-like robot called Doraemon. One day, the protagonists find a mysterious seed that they decide to plant. Then a huge tree grows out of it, and a powerful storm unleashes, which takes our pupils and their friends to a mysterious, unknown city called Season Town. The protagonists decide to stay in this place and help its inhabitants, while trying to find a way to return home. While Nobita is responsible for restoring the ruined farm, Doraemon takes the position of assistant mayor, helping to develop Season Town.
Gameplay
In Doraemon Story of Seasons, the action is shown in isometric view. During the game, we mainly work on the farm. In order for Nobita to harvest abundant crops, he must first cultivate the soil, plant seeds, and finally water the plants growing in the fields. It is worth noting that individual crops must be adapted to the season, otherwise they will be destroyed. Caring for farm animals also plays an important role - we must provide them with a roof over their heads and food, and take care of their cleanliness. In addition, during the game, we establish relationships with the inhabitants of Season Town and perform tasks for them to push the story forward, as well as decorate the protagonist's room, fish or even hunt for worms.
