The events that we encounter when moving our figurine around it are presented in the form of card battles. During them, we play cards decorated with lively (and talkative) images of various forest animals, such as squirrels, birds, wolves and bears. Each of them has an individual set of strengths and weaknesses; while some are great as "cannon fodder" or food for more powerful individuals (so the latter can become stronger), others should be kept for special occasions.We are informed about who is closer to the loser by the scales, whose scales are tilted towards the protagonist or Lesze. When we lose our leg and the scales of victory turn to the side of our grim host, we can take the last chance, which is to sacrifice part of our body in exchange for the opportunity to continue the game. Each such decision should be carefully considered because it has specific consequences. For example, without an eye, we cannot see part of the table, but without hands ... well, we cannot play more cards.This is not the end, because Inscryption also allows us to get up from the table and wander around Leszno's hut. There are a number of items hidden in it that both serve to solve various puzzles made in the style of escape rooms, and provide scraps of information about this place and its host.
