Aquanox: Deep Descent is the fourth installment of the cult series of shooters in which we sit at the helm of futuristic submarines, launched in 1997 by Archimedean Dynasty . The production was developed by the Serbian studio Digital Arrow (previously the series was supervised by the Massive Development team), and its creation was possible, among others, thanks to a successful crowdfunding fundraiser on the Kickstarter website. Story Aquanox: Deep Descent has a bleak vision for the future. After the surface of the Earth became unusable, humanity decided to move under the water. In the face of dwindling stocks and limited access to raw materials, the world baptized as Aqua quickly divided the feuding factions among themselves. During the game, we end up in the middle of their conflict and it is only up to us how our story unfolds in this universe. Gameplay In Aquanox: Deep Descent, we observe the action from the eyes of a submarine pilot ( FPP ). During the game, we explore the vast depths and carry out various tasks; from searching wrecks, through obtaining resources and trading, ending with raids and clashes with opponents.The funds obtained in this way can be used to purchase new boats or better equipment for those already owned, thanks to which we can face more and more challenges over time. It depends on us whether we decide on a universal one (which will work well in almost every situation) or a more specialized unit (such as a heavy cruiser or a fast and agile bathyscaphe). When purchasing new parts, it is worth remembering that each of them has a direct impact on the statistics of the unit we control, which is reflected, among others, in its durability, speed, attack power or maneuverability.
