Back 4 Blood is a cooperative first-person shooter in which players find themselves in a world dominated by zombies. Back 4 Blood is the work of Turtle Rock Studios, which previously created items such as Evolve or the best-selling Left 4 Dead.
Story
The world is shaken by a catastrophe. As a result of an epidemic caused by a deadly parasite, a large part of the human population has died out. The cities were also taken over by the Ridden - hosts of the parasite, transforming them into monstrous, destructive creatures. A group of survivors, called the "cleaners", decide to face a horde of hungry zombies together and regain a civilization that is approaching destruction.
Gameplay
The main goal of the game is to clear the location of the "infected" that threaten the heroes and to complete the mission. Before the game starts, the player chooses one of the eight "survivors" to play the map with. Each character has several unique abilities and access to additional equipment, and is also assigned a specific type of weapon (which the player can, however, exchange during the game). After making a choice, the player and his allies (three other characters, controlled by friends or computer) are transferred to a map full of zombies and start the fight for survival.
During the game, he can be attacked by both common "infected" (such as Shambling Ridden Swarm, Ridden or Sprinters) and those with various unique forms and special abilities (Bruisers, Retches or Hockers). The team can also compete with a six-meter-tall mutant (Ogre), who acts as a boss in the game.
Co-op
The game has several variants of the game - you can play it both alone, as well as in co-op (cooperation) or PvP (player vs player) modes. If the player has plans to face the zombie world alone, he has the option to choose a story campaign in which the rest of the team is controlled by artificial intelligence. However, the campaigns were designed primarily with the co-op play in mind. In this variant, players can create teams of up to four people. The main goal of the campaign divided into chapters, apart from eliminating zombies, is to complete specific missions.
The last mode - player vs player - allows you to play eight people. Two teams are formed - in one the players play the role of "cleaners", in the other - the terrible "infected". Both sides have access to unique weapons and abilities, and also have special abilities.
