Legendary French designer Pierre Paulin originally designed the Pacha Lounge Chair in 1975. Paulin designed the chair in harmony with the changing design style of its period, replacing the austerity of post-war design with a new, vigorous approach.Paulin managed to give a real elegance to the rounded forms of the Pacha Lounge Chair by finding the perfect proportions, raising it lightly on its base and tracing in the foam and upholstery with stitching lines inclined inwards. Through pieces like the Pacha Lounge Chair, Pierre Paulin pioneered low-level living; a modern way of living and sitting on the floor, by getting rid of chair legs.With comfort as the constant starting-point in his designs, the curvaceous, whimsical and organic shapes of the Pacha Chair are conceived to serve the body, providing both comfort and cosiness. The 3D Counter Stool, designed by Komplot Design, was the first furniture design to be based on the innovative technique of moulding three-dimensional veneer. The 3D design gives the stool a comfortable seat and a sense of lightness – with all edges pointing away from the user. With the wide range of seating shells in veneer and in HiRek and numerous bases, the 3D Counter Stool allows a unique and personal expression for both the private home or restaurant. The furniture design has been awarded in several prestigious design awards and is included in the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

The Coco Dining Chair is part of the Coco Collection, designed by OEO Studio with focus on charismatic signature design that offers a high level of comfort. The chair borrows refer- ences to the industrial simplicity, fashion and the Bauhaus, but the inspiration of the design comes from a desire to create a simple yet elegant chair with minimal use of materials and tools without compromising the design and character. The design also allows the Coco Dining Chair to be both playful and loud to more sophisti- cated and elegant, which gives the chair an almost human character, makes it highly recognizable, enhances its uniqueness and makes it easy to implement in both private homes as well as restaurants, cafes etc.
