Gas Guzzlers Extreme for PC, XONE and PS4 is a continuation of the crazy car action game Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage, which was released in 2012 by Gamepires studio from the Balkans. Sequel offers us proven ideas from the first part of the game, given in even more and an improved setting.
The main part of the game is a campaign, designed for around 12 hours of fun, during which we will compete on over 50 routes and arenas, with a total of 500 km of asphalt and gravel surfaces. The routes are quite varied and they are located in 7 different sceneries. 18 fully modifiable cars, ranging from fast sports cars, through SUVs to trucks, will lead us to victory. A special garage mode will allow you to pimp your machine through several possible modifications, such as replacing tires, rims, colors or stickers. As our cars improve, so does the difficulty of the game and the skill of our rivals.
However, the Gas Guzzlers series is not intended for lovers of leisurely driving. Our goal, apart from obtaining the best time, is also to effectively get rid of opponents, e.g. by pushing them out of the way. The means to achieve the goal are 12 unique weapons and a number of bonuses and power-ups, which are randomly dotted with the routes of struggle. For each depressed opponent, we receive a certain amount of dollars that we can spend on further improvements to our car. The game successfully combines the classic, typical for most cars, arcade driving model with crazy fun, characteristic of combat racing games.
Gas Guzzlers offers a much better next-gen graphic design than its predecessor. Much stronger emphasis was also placed on the multiplayer game. The game includes 6 completely different multiplayer modes and 7 additional ones dedicated to team play. It is worth emphasizing that the title efficiently supplements the number of players with computer-controlled bots, which eliminates the uncomfortable need to wait for the right amount of people willing to play. The authors have added a special server creator to the game, which we can now create in just a few seconds.
