Ferm Living Post Sideboard Smoked Oak
Design: Ferm Living Concept: The post sideboard is inspired by brutalism, and the design has been played with different volumes to create a single piece of furniture with fascinating details. It is seen i.a. in the relationship between the robust legs and the thinner shelves and doors that provide a nice contrast. The elegant sideboard has striped wooden details in oak veneer, made with marquetry which is a complex and time-consuming carpentry technique. To preserve the iconic striped front, the doors are made without handles but with a concealed open mechanism. In the Post series , there are also tables in smoked oak in two different sizes and with different details that compliment the sideboard and invite you to create a cohesive landscape of tables in two levels. In addition, the table is also made in a high-gloss version in a more colorful finish.
