The Nemesis System
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor features the Nemesis System, the game’s signature mechanic. During your adventure, you’ll meet powerful orc bosses who possess unique abilities, skills, weaknesses, and ranks. Defeating these bosses will grant you gear and runes to update your equipment. Watch out, though: as one Nemesis dies, there will be a new one to take his place. What’s more, bosses can form relationships with other orcs.
