Exhaust Silencer MT-07 Arrow Thunder Approved
More and more new bikes are designed with very small exhaust and mounted in positions: this has necessitated the use of silencers increasingly systems also in the after-market products. For these reasons Arrow decided to introduce in the field of road bikes a form first developed for the Off-Road program, again with a diamond shape. E 'then came the Street Thunder, fusion of design and technology among the finest on the market. The difference is the design of the rear endcaps, available in stainless steel or, alternatively, carbon fiber. To compensate for the reduction of the available volume, Arrow has played a constant research on sound-absorbing materials: many tests on the track and in the R & D department have allowed the introduction of new materials and technologies, more effective than the previous. As usual, also Street Thunder are available in the homologated version with removable dB-killer. As well as "big brothers", Street Thunder is available with canisters in titanium, aluminum or carbon fiber and in some cases also in the version in black anodized aluminum (Dark Line). All Arrow silencers approved EU have the inside (dB killer) removed for regeneration and cleaning. The removal of the interior (dB killer) transforms the silencer from approved racing, resulting in better performance, but jeopardizing compliance approval. With discharges approved to EU standards is issued a Certificate of Approval to be attached to the booklet Circulation. After removing the removable cap (dB killer), the EU approved silencers and those racing are exactly identical.
