Laser Disco Defenders  is a two-dimensional shoot 'em up arcade game. The British studio Out of Bounds Games is responsible for creating the game. Laser Disco Defenders is the first major commercial project of this developer, which previously published only two PC productions - Connected Caves and Turncoat Protocol , distributed outside the largest digital distribution services. Story The production is set in the cartoon world of science fiction. The main characters are the title Laser Disco Defenders - a group of superheroes, equipped with fantastic gadgets and defending the world against all kinds of threats. Trouble comes when the evil Lord Monotone steals the Mirror Moon. It is a powerful artifact that is a prize in an intergalactic music competition and allows music to be broadcast to every corner of the universe. The protagonists have no choice but to retrieve the item before Monotone uses it for evil purposes. The whole story is presented in cutscenes displayed between the levels. Gameplay Laser Disco Defenders is a classic two-dimensional shoot 'em up, in which we control the character with two analog sticks: one is responsible for the direction of movement, and the other is for the target of our shots. Players move through randomly generated maze-like levels filled with all kinds of enemies, as well as obstacles and other dangers such as deadly laser cannons. All this takes place in weightless conditions, which we have to take into account when making quick turns and changing the direction of movement. Our character has considerable equipment, unlocked as the game progresses. These are various types of space suits and accessories, giving us new and unique abilities on the battlefield .
