Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII is a turn-based strategy enriched with RPG elements for the PS4, PC etc. platform. The production is one of the oldest series of this type, the first part of which was released in 1985. The project was developed by Konami studio, also responsible for all previous editions. Story Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII takes place in China in the 2nd century AD, during the Han Dynasty and the era of the Three Kingdoms that followed. When creating the realities of the game, the authors used both historical records and the plot of the fourteenth-century novel entitled The Story of the Three Kingdoms, which presented a heavily colored version of real events. This solution allowed the authors to offer factions, places and characters known from the textbooks, but at the same time also gave them greater freedom to create plots and scenarios, without having to be limited to historical truth. The era presented in the game is a period of struggle for control over China and players take on the role of a commander who tries to unite this country and restore peace in it. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV is a turn-based strategy game in which we also find a lot of RPG elements. In this production, we play the role of a leader competing for influence during the fall of China (2nd century BC). This title belongs to one of the oldest strategic cycles in history (the first installment of Romance of the Three Kingdoms was released in the 1980s). The well-known company Koei Tecmo is again responsible for its creation and release. Story The action of the game takes place in the historical period known as the era of the three kingdoms - at a time when China fell apart after the fall of the Han dynasty. The production draws from the pages of history, but is also inspired by various types of works that describe the period in question, e.g. the famous Chinese novel Tales of the Three Kingdoms.
