Lawnflite Mini-Rider 76-SDE Compact Side-Discharge Ride-On Mower with Transmatic Drive
Large enough to cover a substantial lawn with speed and efficiency, but small enough to fit through narrow gateways, this compact ride-on from Lawnflite is the obvious choice for anyone seeking to step-up from a walk-behind mower! Thanks to its narrow 76cm cutting-width and impressively tight 46cm turning-circle, the Lawnflite 76-SDE Mini Rider is easy to realign at the end of each pass and can be driven safely around and between obstacles. Manoeuvrability is further enhanced by a six-speed change-on-the-move Transmatic transmission, which provides foot-pedal control of the ground speed. The Lawnflite 76-SDE has two standard mowing-modes: mulching, which is ideal for short, dry grass; and side-discharge, which comes into its own on long, damp grass. A capacious grass collector can be purchased separately. In order to help you manage changing weather conditions and grass lengths, Lawnflite have equipped the 76-SDE with five centrally selected cutting-heights. The cutter deck has been laterally displaced for ‘up-to-the-edge’ mowing; and it floats so as to ensure the blade follows the contours of undulating ground. Making this model tick is a high-powered and ultra-dependable 382cc four-stroke engine from MTD. There’s an electric starter, so getting the engine going will be a stress-free operation every single time. Other key features include wide, turf-saving drive wheels, which work to keep the lawn surface in pristine condition; and a large-capacity 4.9-litre fuel tank for longer runs between refuelling-breaks. Features Compact, highly manoeuvrable and a delight to drive Generous 76cm cutting-width for faster mowing times Change-on-the-move Transmatic drive – foot-pedal controlled High-performance electric-start OHV engine from MTD Large-capacity fuel tank extends runtimes between top-up stops Capable of side-discharging or mulching clippings Grass catcher optional Five preset deck-heights for a precision cut Offset cutter deck allows you to mow right up to walls and fences Large-diameter, wide-profile tyres work to prevent scuffing during turns Extra-tight turning-circle for superior manoeuvrability The Brand MTD-Lawnflite With over 75 years of manufacturing experience going into every machine, MTD-Lawnflite is able to offer you innovative and award winning products that are user friendly, reliable and which will save you money at the same time. It is continually entering new markets and expanding its production and sales capacities. The European headquarter is of particular importance in this regard. MTD is expanding production in the Saarbrücken plant in Germany step-by-step, thus helping to create secure long-term jobs. MTD-Lawnflite's success is based on three fundamental principles, principles which were valid in the past and which will retain their value in future: the dedication of its personnel, the pursuit of technological innovation and customer satisfaction. MTD is certain that this satisfaction is based on trust in the company's excellent workmanship. The foundation which was laid by the company's founders in 1932 continues to offer a firm basis for MTD and its dedicated workforce to continue their excellence into the future. MTD, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, started as a tool and die supplier to the local manufacturing community. Through hard work, dedication, integrity and an emphasis on customer service, MTD quickly gained a reputation as a high quality tool and die supplier, and this reputation helped the company make the natural expansion into steel stampings. The company became involved with consumer products by supplying stampings to the toy industry, but this expanded quickly to include complete products such as tricycles. Wheelbarrows were added to the consumer product line in the early fifties, and this simple product line had profound effects. Satisfied customers encouraged MTD to expand the product offerings for the yard and garden, and in 1958 the company produced its first lawnmower.
