I15 Prisma er Primares mindste forstærker i den nye serie - både i størrelse og ren muskelkraft. Så hvor store forventninger kan man så egentlig tillade sig at have til så fornuftig prissat en forstærker? Med så beskeden en ydelse på bare 2 x 60w i 8 ohm og 6.4 kg kampvægt, er det nok ikke så store forventninger. Intet kan dog være længere væk fra sandheden. Denne lille juvel af en forstærker har mildest talt en overdreven god ydelse til prisen, og må nok betegnes som det absolut bedste køb i hele Primares produktsortimentet når ydelse og pris skal holdes op imod hinanden. Tests har vist at den formår at trække selv high-end højttalere i den virkelige tunge liga, som f.eks Audiovector R8 til ikke mindre end 420.000 kr. i overlegen stil. Og det med en lydkvalitet uden lige til prisen. I dens klasse er I15 praktisk talt uden konkurrence overhovedet. En sublim "lille" forstærker med en fantastisk lydkvalitet. Indbygget kvalitets DAC og streaming er blot med til at understrege formatet af I15 Prisma. Det bliver simpelthen ikke bedre. Digital to Analog Conversion (DAC) – In order to allow for playback of virtually any digital source with absolute accuracy and musicality a high performance 32-bit stereo ESS ES9028Q2M reference DAC chipset was selected for the I15 Prisma MK2, which uses the critically acclaimed ESS patented 32-bit HyperStream technology capable of delivering a DNR of 129dB and THD+N of -120db S/N, while supporting up to 384kHz PCM and 256/11.2MHz DSD; performance levels that will satisfy the most demanding system needs and audio enthusiast. Control Front Panel Display – the latest generation OLED display technology used in the I15 Prisma MK2 was originally developed for the automobile industry to ensure long life in even the most hostile environments, and improved readability due to greater consistency of colour value and brightness level.
