Caricabatterie Optimate 3 (Tecmate) - Mantenitore di Carica

OptiMate 3 mantenitore, carica batterie ed ottimizzatore per batterie da 12V per moto e altri veicoli con batterie di capacità da 2 a 50 Ah (di qualsiasi tipo tranne quelle al litio). Il caricabatterie Optimate 3 è l'evoluzione del famosissimo Optimate III SP e Optimate 3+ ed è l'unico caricabatterie-mantenitore raccomandata da ben 8 Case motociclistiche. OptiMate 3 si collega alla rete di casa 220/240V e alla batteria, tutte le altre funzioni avvengono automaticamente. Al contrario dei suoi concorrenti, l’OptiMate 3 è in grado di salvare batterie assai trascurate e in più verifica che le batterie siano cariche per quanto il loro stato iniziale lo permetta, e controlla quindi che non vi siano celle difettose. Infine, OptiMate 3 mantiene la vostra batteria in modo sicuro in caso di lungo stoccaggio, grazie al suo ciclo di mantenimento dolce – 30 minuti di riposo per ogni ora di connessione. Ecco una breve descrizione del programma automatico a fasi multiple dell’OptiMate, che si avvia al momento della connessione a una batteria da 12V che abbia una tensione di almeno 2V: L’OptiMate verifica immediatamente se la batteria presenta un voltaggio sufficiente per lanciare il programma, e se sia solforata o meno. In caso di solforazione, l’OptiMate applica il suo intervento di «pronto soccorso» sotto forma di una tensione di 20V** massimo, con una corrente debole per una durata massima di 2 ore, per indurre la batteria ad accettare una carica in modo «normale». Una volta che il circuito rileva che questo stato è stato raggiunto (in effetti al momento stesso della connessione per la maggior parte delle batterie), si attiva il modo di carica principale rilasciando una corrente costante, anche se la batteria è più «reticente» del normale ad accettare la carica – situazione dovuta al fatto che è stata «dimenticata» per un certo tempo. Quando i parametri della batteria indicano che il progresso della carica è sufficiente, parte la fase di verifica (esclusività). La tensione è limitata a un livello più basso e, se fosse necessario, un’azione a tensione pulsante elimina ulteriore solforazione e completa la carica. Fatta questa verifica, si passa alla fase seguente. L’OptiMate interrompe in questa fase la sua erogazione di corrente per 30 minuti e sorveglia il voltaggio della batteria, non alimentata in questo lasso di tempo. Ciò permette di controllare se la batteria ritiene una carica sufficiente a poter avviare un motore. A questo punto viene attivato il modo di mantenimento. Durante i 30’ seguenti, l’OptiMate invia una carica di sostegno, ma solo quanto basta a compensare una perdita o un consumo imposti da un accessorio collegato, come un allarme o un immobilizzatore. Qualsiasi riscaldamento e/o surriscaldamento della batteria è da escludere, grazie al ciclo di mantenimento «50%» - tensione fluttuante e test di 30’ seguiti da 30’ di pausa. In questo modo, la batteria è sempre pronta al 100% ma mai sovraccarica. **Il modo di desolforazione ad alta tensione può essere avviato solo se la batteria è stata prima scollegata dal pannello elettrico del veicolo.Per questo e altri motivi tecnici, l’OptiMate non può danneggiare nessun elemento elettronico. Le ipotesi di possibile rischi, evocate in certi siti di «chat» o certi forum, sono infondate. Tuttavia può benissimo servire per batterie di dimensioni maggiori, basterà semplicemente prevedere un tempo di carica più lungo. Conforme a tutte le norme EN e IEC pertinenti e alle direttive CE.
