Lawnflite Mini-Rider 60-RDE Ultra-Compact Rear-Collect Ride-On Mower with Transmatic Drive
The Lawnflite 60-RDE offers the perfect compromise between a less productive walk-behind mower and an overly bulky lawn-tractor, so it will cover a larger lawn efficiently, whilst giving you none of the manoeuvrability or storage problems often encountered with more substantial machines. Power from its premium-grade, single-cylinder MTD ThorX four-stroke engine is sent to the drive-wheels via a six-speed Transmatic Shift-on-the-Go transmission, which makes adjusting the ground-speed more intuitive and less time-consuming than with a standard manual drive. The drive wheels are larger than the front wheels for easier turning and improved traction on damp grass. Thanks to its three-in-one design, whereby you can choose between bagging, direct discharge and mulching, the Lawnflite Mini Rider 60-RDE Ride-On Mower is capable of achieving superb results on any grass-type, from a neat, manicured lawn, through to a less well maintained informal area (the mulch-kit and rear deflector are optional) A five-step height-of-cut, adjustable from 38 to 95mm, allows you to adapt to changing weather- and grass-conditions; a high-capacity 150-litre grass collector means more time can be spent actually mowing with less time wasted at the compost pile. With a cutting-width of just 60cm and an ultra-tight 46cm turning-circle, the Lawnflite Mini Rider 60-RDE will take awkward corners and closely spaced obstacles in its stride. It has an adjustable seat, so you can sit in a position that’s most comfortable for your stature; and it features Lawnflite’s practical step-through frame that means even the less nimble of us will find it easy and safe to get on and off. It is continually entering new markets and expanding its production and sales capacities. The European headquarter is of particular importance in this regard. MTD is expanding production in the Saarbrücken plant in Germany step-by-step, thus helping to create secure long-term jobs. MTD-Lawnflite's success is based on three fundamental principles, principles which were valid in the past and which will retain their value in future: the dedication of its personnel, the pursuit of technological innovation and customer satisfaction. MTD is certain that this satisfaction is based on trust in the company's excellent workmanship. The foundation which was laid by the company's founders in 1932 continues to offer a firm basis for MTD and its dedicated workforce to continue their excellence into the future. MTD, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, started as a tool and die supplier to the local manufacturing community. Through hard work, dedication, integrity and an emphasis on customer service, MTD quickly gained a reputation as a high quality tool and die supplier, and this reputation helped the company make the natural expansion into steel stampings. The company became involved with consumer products by supplying stampings to the toy industry, but this expanded quickly to include complete products such as tricycles. Wheelbarrows were added to the consumer product line in the early fifties, and this simple product line had profound effects. Satisfied customers encouraged MTD to expand the product offerings for the yard and garden, and in 1958 the company produced its first lawnmower.
