The Panel-LED is only 12mm thick and drops in to a standard 600mm square tile opening in exposed -T ceilings. They provide an aesthetically pleasing high output uniform light source with a colour temperature of 4500K White. The front face of the Panel LED operates with an even luminance distribution and provides glare free illumination on the working plane.The Panel-LED luminaires are driven by 230Volt 50 Hertz small electronic drivers which are power factor corrected. They can be supplied as standard mains only luminaires and are also available as full emergency units. Dimming controls are also an option. The emergency option fully supports all the features of the Lux Intelligent test system and complies fully with all applicable requirements of EN60598.2.22.OperationThe Panel-LED is supplied with all the standard emergency equipment housed within a galvanised remote metal housing. In the event of a power failure the luminaire continues to operate for a further 3 hours from the Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries. The repeaters are fully functional with Silence Resound and Reset controls as well as Disable and Test Mode functions. It is also possible to disable the controls for each or all repeater panels to make them passive indication only. QuickZone XL panels can support up to 8 repeater panels. Repeater panels are designed to be wired in a fault tolerant fail safe loop configuration to and back to the main panel again.This enables repeater panels to still work if there is a break in the cables. If replacing an older system where the existing cabling cannot be configured in a loop as above it is possible to re-programme the panel back with a radial circuit communications monitoring. It supports both maintained non-maintained and slave luminaires in either self-contained central battery or static inverter systems. It supports all of the Advanced Lux Intelligent range of fittings. On top of this Lux Intelligent addressable modules can be added to almost any luminaires to allow them to function on the Lux Intelligent system fully.The control panel has a dynamic event log of 1000 events as well as a separate log for the recording of test results. Records of all automatic and manual tests are generated and can be downloaded byconnecting to a computer and using the appropriate Lux Intelligent Logger tool.
