Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer 1kg 1kg

Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer 1kg 1kg

Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer can be used to lower Chlorine or Bromine levels in swimming pool water after shock treatment procedures or as a problem solver if the pool has been accidentally 'overdosed' with chlorine or bromine. Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer Application Instructions: 1 - Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10 litres) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned "on", preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution. 2 - If applying after shock treatment, allow a minimum of 8 hours for shock chlorination to oxidise swimmer wastes from water before application. 3 - Measure the free chlorine/total bromine level in the water, then using the dosing table below, calculate the total amount required. 4 - Split this total amount into 4 smaller doses. Apply each 1/4 dose, allowing time to thoroughly circulate (2-3 hours for commercial pools, 6-8 hours for domestic pools) before re-testing chlorine/bromine level and if necessary adding further doses. | | | --- | | Chlorine Reducer Dosing Rates | | Water Volumes | To lower Pool Chlorine Level by | | Litres | Gallons | 1mg/L (1ppm) | 2mg/L (2ppm) | 3mg/L (3ppm) | | 4,545 | 1,000 | 23g | 46g | 114g | | 9,090 | 2,000 | 45g | 91g | 227g | | 22,700 | 5,000 | 114g | 228g | 568g | | 45,450 | 10,000 | 227g | 454g | 1.14kg | | 68,175 | 15,000 | 341g | 682g | 1.7kg | Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer General Precautions: Dosing: - Wear eye and face protection and ensure granules are not blown back into your face. - Never mix with any other chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine products, as a dangerous reaction will occur. - Do not pour this product into a pool skimmer basket containing chlorine tablets or any other product. - When pre-dissolving product always add product to water not the other way round. Blue Horizons Chlorine Stabiliser Granules 2kg 2kg

Blue Horizons Chlorine Stabiliser Granules 2kg 2kg

Blue Horizons Chlorine Stabiliser Granules is a traditional, granular chlorine donor that is still popular with many pool owners that like dose rate flexibility. These granules are rapid dissolving making prep-dissolving and application easy. The granules have a pH value of about 6.0 - 7.0, which is fairly close to the ideal pool water pH level and so will have little effect on the pH level of your pool water. Another feature of Stabilised Chlorine Granules is that they contain Cyanuric acid (chlorine stabiliser), this can be beneficial for outdoor pools as it reduces the amount of chlorine lost to sunlight - making it easier for you to maintain the correct chlorine level in your pool. Please refer to the Blue Horizons Pool Care guide for further product information in our downloads section. Blue Horizons Rapid Dissolving Chlorine Stabiliser Granules Application Instructions: 1.
