They can be permanently floor-fixed for maximum stability or supplied with an optional freestanding wooden base. The optional base is ideal for spaces where permanent floor installation isn’t possible or preferred. Constructed with sloped edges rising to 75mm, the base is available with either a non-slip vinyl surface or anti-static carpet finish. The vinyl version features a non-reflective surface, reducing glare and distractions during use. Manufactured to order in the UK, Westminster Parallel Bars are delivered flat-packed directly from the supplier. Assembly is straightforward, and if opting for floor-fixed installation without the base, the stanchions must be securely attached to the floor.
