The title was developed by the independent studio NotGames and was released by tinyBuild. The action of Not For Broadcast takes place in an alternative, dystopian version of the eighties of the last century, in which social unrest is on the agenda, so the risk of a revolution is very high. During the game, we play the role of a hero working in a TV studio as a cleaner. As a result of an unexpected twist of events, the protagonist joins the National Nightly News team. From now on, it will be him who will decide what message is to come from the TV news, and thus - influence the public opinion. It depends on the choices we make whether the station is censored or decides to publicize the truth (usually sad or at least controversial). In Not For Broadcast, we observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game, we sit at the professional editorial equipment, which we operate, using various switches ourselves, inserting cassettes into VCRs and observing the effects of our actions on cathode ray tube screens. Everything related to the functioning of television news rests on our shoulders. So we primarily deal with the selection of topics, and we also decide how they will be presented - we choose the content of information bars and camera shots, or we decide on the censorship of curses (or content undesirable by the "top"). We also have to spend some airtime on advertisements (which we select ourselves, of course), because the income from their broadcast is added to our bank account.

The production allows us to play the role of a newly employed employee of the eponymous restaurant, located in the city of New Elysium. It quickly turns out that both the restaurant itself and the aforementioned town hide numerous secrets, the discovery of which can make you shudder.In Happy's Humble Burger Farm we watch the action from the first person perspective (FPP). All the issues related to running a restaurant are on our shoulders. We deal with customer service, personally preparing the dishes ordered by them (we have to choose the ingredients and operate the kitchen equipment, so initially it is worth supporting the instructions) and pouring drinks and issuing orders. After the shift is finished, we can leave the dingy restaurant and wander the New Elysium. We can find here, among others, a Steal 'n' Sell store, where we can spend the money earned or get additional cash by selling items found in the meantime. In addition, while playing, we collect special tokens that can be spent on various improvements for the restaurant, which can slightly speed up our work.And speaking of the speed of work - while the first changes are fairly smooth, things start to get complicated soon after. There are more and more customers, their orders are more and more difficult to fulfill, various random events (such as fires) take place in the restaurant, and to make matters worse, we are visited by stranger and more dangerous people. All this makes it easy to make a mistake or delay in order fulfillment. After the third such violation of the rules, we have a much bigger problem, because Jałówka, the restaurant's mascot, drastically changes its face and follows us in pursuit to punish us. Instead of fighting her in the conventional way, we must avoid her attacks while feeding her helpers and so try to pacify her.
