It's also a lovely material for a soft bodysuit for the little ones.  Explore our many different sewing patterns, or create your very own design.  Some practicalities This fabric consists of 92% organic cotton and 8% elastane; choose the length you need for your DIY project!  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, which is characterised by having a medium point – also called ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. Partially organic  Products with this label have an organic content of at least 25%. It could be, for example, fabrics with organic cotton mixed with other fibres. We've created this label so you can easily identify the proportion of organic content. BCI - Better Cotton Initiative Our cotton jersey is not only comfortable and of high quality; it's also BCI-certified. This means that the cotton in this product comes from farmers who follow the principles and criteria of the Better Cotton Initiative. Stretch jersey, black - suitable for swim

Shall we dance? Do you have a happy little gymnast, dancer, or upcoming ice-skating star at home? Then this stretch fabric is perfect when you're designing and sewing a new favourite outfit! The fabric is soft, elastic, and breathable, providing flexibility for countless pirouettes, cartwheels, and cha-cha steps. The shiny surface looks elegant, whether you're in dim lighting or on the big stage with the perfect spotlight. Great for sports This material is comfortable to wear and offers maximum freedom of movement. This means it's brilliant for all kinds of sports, so you can confidently start sewing sporty leggings and tops for your own and others' active pursuits.  And if you're more into water? Then the black variant is your go-to. It's chlorine-resistant, making it suitable for swimsuits, bikinis, and swim shorts.  And great for everything else We've covered the sporty designs, but you can also use this fabric for everyday and party wear for both adults and children. Leggings for a party, a beautifully draping skirt, or an elegant top.  The possibilities are endless – just get out the sewing machine and get started.  A bit of practicality This fabric is made of 92% polyester and 8% elastane. Universal needles from Organ Needles Using the right sewing machine needle for the fabric you are working with is essential to help you end up with the best result. The type of fabric you are working with determines which needle you should use. The thicker your fabric is the thicker your needle needs to be. The universal needles come in sizes 70 to 100 – the higher the number is, the thicker the needle is. Universal sewing machine needles in size 70 are used for no stretch basic lightweight fabric like cotton and viscose and they are compatible with most modern domestic sewing machines.
