Distrust Steam CD Key
Distrust is an indie game inspired by the classic horror movie Something by John Carpenter. The production was created in the little-known Russian Cheerleaders studio and is a hybrid of strategy and survival horror with roguelike elements.
Story
Distrust allows players to direct the fate of a group of explorers who crash into a helicopter near a seemingly abandoned base in the Arctic. Surviving in such a situation could be a challenge on its own, but unfortunately for our heroes, the catastrophe is only the beginning of much more serious problems. It turns out that a mysterious, monstrous force is prowling in the area, which feeds on the life force of sleeping people, leaving only dead bodies behind. Trying to avoid sleep at all costs, the survivors try to find some way home. With each passing hour, however, fatigue takes its toll on them more and more, and their senses begin to fail. Can they still trust them? What is the monster lurking in their lives? Where is the line between reality and hallucination?
Gameplay
Distrust is a marriage of strategy and survival horror. The title also has some elements of roguelike games, such as randomly generated locations or a fairly high level of difficulty. The game world is presented in an isometric projection, and the characters are controlled by the mouse. The player can choose his two protagonists from a group of 15 characters. Each of them has its own set of skills. The main task is to save the heroes from death and to solve the mystery of the monster that is roaming the base. Providing the characters of existence requires taking care of food, rest and a warm shelter, giving respite from the ubiquitous frost. In Distrustsleep is always a risk, but on the other hand, its lack may result in hallucinations, so it is necessary to skillfully juggle the risks. It also helps that you can switch between survivors at any time and compare what they see to tell the truth from the dreams .
