Myth of Empires is a sandbox production bordering on MMORPGs, survival games and strategies. The title was developed by the independent Chinese studio Angela Game and was released by Antiidelay.Myth of Empires takes us on a journey to a fantastic continent inspired by the historic Far East. This land is plunged into conflict and it is only up to us whether we join the war or become a peaceful lord (or lady) of the estate.In Myth of Empires we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). The production offers us an open world with an area of 64 square kilometers. We find there, among others, dense forests, picturesque river valleys and rocky mountains. We travel it on foot or on the horse's back. The land is inhabited not only by player-controlled characters, but also by NPCs who deal with their own affairs on a daily basis. With the former, we can establish more or less friendly relations, enter into alliances, establish guilds and cooperate in many fields ... or on the contrary - fight for influence and, consequently, win the coveted crown.Speaking of combat - battles in Myth of Empires are dynamic, and during them we make use of over a hundred different weapons. As we will not do much alone here, if we want to win against our opponents, we have to field the largest possible army. However, while cavalry and infantry in the open field are doing great, in the case of sieges of fortified cities, the key to success is also having a variety of machines that allow our subordinates to get on the walls or pierce through (not so much) tightly closed gates.When fighting, we must remember about the need to create a supply network so that our soldiers have constant access to the necessary resources. The list of the latter is dominated by food, the main source of which is the fields cultivated on our land. In addition, before throwing yourself into the fight for influence, it is worth remembering that we may as well fall victim to the invasion. For this reason, we should devote some attention to gathering raw materials, which are used both to produce better and better equipment (such as weapons or armor), as well as to erect various buildings and construct fortifications. We also increase our combat potential by developing the protagonist and acquiring new skills, as well as by developing the guild.
