The second part of the game, which is once again the responsibility of Auroch Digital studio, is based on the mechanics of the original, Rötsel Now, a lot of new.Unlike most popular board games, Chainsaw Warrior is a game designed only for solo play. The action takes place in New York of the future, where, thanks to a mysterious portal, a passage to another dimension opens, bringing a whole lot of terrifying creatures to Earth. The player takes on the role of an elite commando who, armed with a powerful chainsaw, tries to find and destroy the portal hidden in the city, and thus stop the invasion of all filth.When we start playing, we create our own hero and equip him with the necessary equipment. During the game, we move around the New York area, revealing event cards and taking actions appropriate to the situation, the result of which is largely based on the result of dice rolls. The development of events is completely random, and subsequent cards may contain both useful items and dangerous traps or monsters that we will have to face. Our main rival, however, is the passing time, as we only have an hour to destroy the portal.Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night features three completely new locations where we face previously unknown dark enemies and unique mini-bosses. The player has a lot of new weapons, improvements and useful equipment at his disposal. The combat system has also undergone some improvements, which is now even more challenging than in the original. The whole setting is similar to the first installment of the game and faithfully reflects the atmosphere and graphic design of the original board game.
