War in a Box: Paper Tanks is a production of the independent studio DQ Team addressed to lovers of tower defense strategy, who are no strangers to children's games with the paper army. The action of the game takes place on the desk. The player takes on the role of a general who, on cardboard models of battlefields, tries to repel the attacks of the opponent's cardboard troops, using paper artillery for this purpose. Gameplay The gameplay in War in a Box: Paper Tanks follows the patterns found in many tower defense games. In designated places on the board, the player erects defense turrets, which are designed to stop the incoming waves of enemy units before they manage to reach his "base". Destroying an enemy unit is rewarded with a small amount of money, for which you can buy new defensive formations or upgrade the ones you already have. The arsenal of available weapons includes machine gun positions, cannons, artillery guns, anti-aircraft batteries and energy cannons (they temporarily reduce the movement speed of enemies). The various types of "turrets" differ in parameters such as range, firepower, rate of fire, cost of purchase and modification, as well as effectiveness against individual formations of enemy units (planes, airships, armored vehicles, tanks, etc.). Achieving all of this requires building a healthy economy that provides our subjects with the necessary raw materials. In the game, we do not give direct orders to our subordinates. Instead, each Viking has its own AI module that shapes its behavior. The player has to influence his charges indirectly by constructing specific buildings and encouraging them to perform specific activities. Memoria is a continuation of The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav (the Polish subtitle of the original is: Klątwa wron). Just like the previous part, this production belongs to the genre of point and click adventure games. In both cases, the developer is Daedalic Entertainment studio. The sequel takes place five centuries after Princess Sadja, from the distant land of Fasar, ventured into the Gorian Desert to confront the demons that reign there. She strove to win the title of the greatest heroine in history. Unfortunately, it was mysteriously lost shortly thereafter and was eventually forgotten. The protagonist of the game is a young boy named Geron. One day he meets a traveling trader Fahi, who promises to restore his girlfriend to her human form in exchange for unraveling the mystery of Sadja who has been lost centuries ago. Geron agrees to the terms of the contract without hesitation in order to be able to see his beloved Nuri again, who was turned into a raven in the prequel. The boy does not know, however, that it is a real challenge. He may be in great danger. The action of the game, as standard in the case of classic point and click adventure titles, consists in exploring subsequent locations, finding and combining items, talking with NPCs and solving logical puzzles. Kevin Mentz, author of the story A New Beginning and co-author of the screenplay of Deponia, is responsible for the story of Memoria.

We move on their streets on foot or at the controls of various vehicles and machines , including cars, motorbikes and buses; From time to time, however, we have to direct more sophisticated means of transport, such as trains or tanks. The game is driven by tasks that push the story forward, accompanied by various side missions.Most often we cooperate with various gangs, of which there are twelve; each of them has its own culture and history. Story The protagonist of Deponia Doomsday is Rufus, the protagonist of the previous games in the series.
