Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! is a beat'em up based on the license of the cult comic series about the adventures of brave Gauls, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. The production was developed by the Mr. Nutz Studio, and its release was handled by Microids.It is 50 B.C. Roman propaganda claims that all Gaul came under the rule of the empire. However, as it is commonly known, there is one small settlement that bravely and persistently makes life difficult for the invaders. The leaders among its inhabitants are Asterix and Obelix, i.e. the title characters in which we play as during the game.In Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! the action is shown from the side. During the game, we run right through the various levels and fight anyone who is within our fists (apart from the Romans, there are Normans, pirates and all kinds of bandits waiting to be defeated, among others). Although the combat system is not complicated, it offers a wide range of attacks unique for each hero, which can be combined into spectacular combinations. The gameplay is diversified by various mini-games waiting to be checked during breaks from hitting the faces of enemies.In Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! can be played alone or in co-op on a shared screen. The pillar of the game is the adventure mode, the subsequent chapters of which are based on a story presented in comics.
