Battle Brothers is a turn-based game combining strategic and RPG elements. The production takes us to the dark land of fantasy, reminiscent of the climate of the series of novels A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, and allows you to play the role of the commander of a group of mercenaries. The German team Overhype Studios is responsible for creating and publishing the title, for which Battle Brothers is a debut on the gaming market. The authors were inspired by such works as Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Mount & Blade, Jagged Alliance and the first part of the XCOM series. The world of Battle Brothers is gray and austere, full of ordinary people sweat their brow for a piece of bread, driven by mundane motives. The villagers cultivate the surrounding fields, fending off the attacks of bandits and robbers, and the mighty lords plot intrigues against other families.
