With the teardrop-shaped marble base acting as an anchor, the white linen or natural canvas shade can be effortlessly rotated around it, as though it were a sail, gently billowing. Its dark antique brass ‘mast’ supports an array of dimmable LED lights within the shade that create a soft, diffuse and evenly distributed light. The smallest of the three Unbound Lamps, it can be used as both a standalone table lamp and a floor lamp. By placing it together with the Large and Medium Unbound Floor Lamps, it helps create a sculptural cluster. Changing the angles of the ‘sails' to each other makes a calming, floating and dynamic sculpture, even when switched off. The H2O Pendant is designed by Barba Corsini in collaboration with Joaquim Ruiz Millet as an evolution of the original PD2 Floor Lamp. Taking the perforations that feature on the original design as inspiration for the H2O Pendant, it exudes a warm atmospheric light whether it is for a dining room, living room or bedroom. Barba Corsini was in 1955 assigned to remodel the attics of the prominent Antoni Gaudí landmark La Pedrera. Used as a laundry room and a storage area, Corsini transformed the space into 13 modern apartments. To complete the architectural experience, Corsini specifically designed and decorated the apartments with his own designs, inspired by the characteristic appearance of the building. In 1991, it was decided that the loft space of La Pedrera should be restored according to the original conception of Gaudí. The interior made by Corsini was torn down and most of it thrown away. During the renovation, the architect and gallerist, Joaquim Ruiz Millet, discovered the PD2 Floor Lamp and saved it from being thrown in the trash. Ruiz Millet started to collaborate with Corsini and his designs, and recreated the original pieces, specifically in order to support rescuing his work, make it more known and available for the public.

The H2O Pendant is designed by Barba Corsini in collaboration with Joaquim Ruiz Millet as an evolution of the original PD2 Floor Lamp.
