The balm promotes healing and soothes burns, cracked skin, grazes, rashes, sunburn, grazes and general scratches. Can be useful for more chronic conditions such as eczema and psoriasis with its use as a moisturiser and barrier protection balm. Many parents praise its use in the treatment of nappy rash and cradle cap, making it a useful product to keep in your home as a precautionary measure. One of the main ingredients in the balm is Propolis which is often regarded as nature's antibiotic, whilst also contains considerable levels of vitamin E which is renowned for its ability to promote and enhance healing of damaged skin and burns. Once placed on the skin it can be easily rubbed in as part of a deep tissue massage, moisturiser or even make up removal. This wax has a gentle warming effect making it the perfect alternative to those balms which promote a cooling sensation. The citrus scent is very reminiscent of the festive season, with hints of mulled wine and spiced cakes due to the Nutmeg, Clove Oils and Cardomum. Plain and Simple Massage Smooth and Easy Application Nourishes and Moisturises Unscented Leaves Skin Soft and Smooth Versatile Easy To Apply The Songbird Unscented Wax offers the massage therapist excellent grip and control in massage treatments with smooth and easy application. The unscented wax is suitable for a wide range of users and still leaves the skin feeling soft, silky and moisturised. The wax allows massage therapists to perform massage with ease as a result of improved grip and control whilst it can be easily washed of if so desired. Essential oils can be added to the formulation if needed to customise the massage experience to your own liking. Please note from 2021, Songbird have switched to the 100g cardboard Ecotubs, and the 100g plastic tubs have been phased out. These are bespoke, especially for Songbird, and to the best of their knowledge are a first for the sector. They are made almost entirely of a special grease resistant cardboard and are recyclable and biodegradable. However, there is approximately 1.5g of PVA glue which holds the tub together, so we cannot claim 100% compostability. We are looking at a compostable glue, but there is nothing on the market yet. This specific wax is often seen as the softest of the Songbird wax range due to the citrus nature of the essential oils. Upon application it is soft and smooth, leaving the skin feeling nourished, moisturised, soft and silky. It provides the massage therapist with outstanding grip and control, which is essential when massaging key muscle groups such as the hamstrings and calf's. Essential Oils: Citrus paradisi (Grapefruit), Citrus sinensis (Orange) and Pimento dioica (Pimento).
