Trampoline Repair Kit For Padding, Safety Nets & Mats

Fixing a Tear in a Trampoline Mat with Flexible Repair Adhesive What You’ll Need: Flexible Repair Adhesive Clean cloth or paper towel Disposable gloves A smooth, sturdy surface (such as a plastic sheet or cardboard) Self-adhesive tape A glue spreader or spatula Step-by-Step Repair Guide Step 1: Prepare the Damaged Area Wipe down the torn section of the trampoline mat with a clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, and any other debris. Make sure the surface is completely dry before applying any adhesive. Lay the mat on a flat, stable surface to simplify the repair. Stick self-adhesive tape to the underside of the hole to create support for the repair. Step 2: Apply the Adhesive Put on disposable gloves to avoid getting adhesive on your hands. Squeeze Flexible Repair Adhesive directly onto the damaged area, ensuring full coverage of the hole as well as an additional 5mm-8mm around it for extra durability. Step 3: Spread the Adhesive Evenly Using a spatula or glue spreader, distribute the adhesive smoothly across the hole and slightly beyond. Press gently to eliminate any air bubbles and ensure the adhesive forms a strong, continuous bond around the tear. Step 4: Let the Repair Cure Leave the adhesive to dry undisturbed for at least 12 hours at room temperature (15°C-20°C). For a fully flexible and long-lasting repair, allow it to cure for 24 hours before using the trampoline. Step 5: Check & Reinforce if Needed After curing, inspect the patched area by gently pressing and stretching the mat. If needed, peel off the self-adhesive tape from underneath. To strengthen the repair, apply an extra thin layer of adhesive over the area. Extra Tips for a Stronger Repair: If the temperature is cold, expect a longer curing time. Avoid repairs in freezing conditions. Storing an opened adhesive tube in the freezer helps prolong its lifespan. Regularly inspect your trampoline mat and fix small tears early to prevent further damage. Higher humidity can actually speed up the curing process and strengthen the bond. By following these steps, you can restore your trampoline mat’s strength and flexibility, keeping it safe and durable for extended use. Let me know if you need any modifications! 😊
