Kamiki Japanese Whisky Intense Wood Created in Nara, one of the ancient capitals of Japan - Kamiki whisky is a unique blended Japanese Whisky. The name itself, Kamiki is a blend of two Japanese words; Kami, meaning 'God' and Iki, meaning Breath. This came from the beautiful breezes which descend from the local mountain - which has long been considered a 'Sacred Mountain of the God'. Just like in their Blended Malt Whisky, it is created by blending rare Japanese Malt Whiskies with specially selected malt whiskies from the rest of the world. These are then blended with Japanese spring water. Rather than a predetermined ratio, the blending occurs when the malts are at their peak flavour. This means each batch is unique. After the blending process, the resulting Kamiki whisky is rested in Yoshino Sugi (Japanese Cedarwood) casks . This is where this edition differs, with this resting period being extended. This wood is particularly aromatic, and is considered the best wood locally to make drink casks for this reason. This extended period in these casks gives a far bolder edition - which is intensely woody. On the nose, this retains a fresh aroma - with delicate hints of dried tea leaves. The palate is far bolder than the original, and has intense cedar flavour with nuances of tea and tobacco. A maltiness joined by cinnamon merges with the intense wood flavours.  This leads into a finish which retains a peppery cedar flavour. A delicate sweetness emerges, which blends with the wood - and the taste buds are awoken by a dash of spice as the flavours leave the mouth. Amuerte Coca Leaf Gin - Green Edition The history of the cocaine plant goes back to the Incan Empire, who used the plant in many ways, from fighting hunger, to curing various sicknesses. Whilst travelling, the founders of Amuerte witnesses a local tribe chewiong on cocaine leaves. Trying themselves, they discovered the unique flavour inherent there. Having a history dating back well over 100 years in the making of gin, they utilised the knowledge and experience to create  a gin with passion, One which contained the vivacious coca leaf flavour (which has a similar flavour to green tea) which they blended with other botanicals. With their Green edition (which is a strictly limited edition, and made for the summer), Amuerte have enhanced their signature coca leaf flavour with the Curuba fruit (also known as the banana passionfruit). Native to the Andean valleys (from Bolivia to Venezuela), the banana passionfruit has been cultivated since pre-colombian times by different cultures in the western South American continent. It looks similar to a young unripened banana, but when cut open it has a glistening orange pulp thats studded with numerous black seeds. The flavour is similar to passionfruit (it's from the same plant family), and has a tart and tangy flavour.  A delicious summery edition from Amuerte, this is really fresh with a slight acidity - and is packed full of tropical flavour! More from Amuerte Perfect Serve To fully enjoy the flavours found in this gin it's best enjoyed with a neutral tonic (and we recommend Double Dutch Indian Tonic for this one). Pour 50ml of the gin into a glass filled with ice, and add 100 - 150ml of the tonic. Garnish with the pulp of a fresh passionfruit - or if this isnt available, a slice of pineapple also works!

44°N Gin Created to capture the "luminous depth of the sea and the windswept aromas of the Mediterranean in every drop", this is an ultra premium French gin. Named after the geographic location of its producer Comte de Grasse (literally Count of Grasse), it is situated just north of Cannes and west of Nice - in the Cote d’Azur, Southern France They utilise as many locally sourced botanicals as possible, Bitter Orange, Cade, Mimosa, Centifolia and Immortelle to ensure they capture the spirit of the area.  The flavour remains true to its mediterranean roots as well, with a floral body from hints of Grasse’s Rose Centifolia and bright jasmine. There is a touch of jam like sweetness through the bitter orange which is expertly countered with a herbaceous punch of Angelica and Samphire. A little warmth from a touch of pepper greets you throughour the drink.This doesn't overpower though, rather enhacing the other botanicals bringing them to life. The finish benefits deliciously from Orris and honey which ensure a sweet yet musky long-lasting effect on the tongue. These blend perfectly with the floral and citrus notes, all mingling perfectly together. Perfect Serve With a multitude of flavours within the drink, this works perfectly with a neutral tonic like Fever-Tree Indian Tonic. However, this also works particularly well with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic, which adds a little more sweetness to the gin and tonic. With either tonic, we recommend 50ml of gin to 100 - 150ml of the tonic. With this gin, just plenty of ice and a large glass is needed. No garnish necessary as the gin really speaks for itself!

In fact, whisky has been made there by the sea since 1830. Interesting Fact: Talisker has partnered with "Parley for the Oceans", to rewild more than 100 million square metres of ocean forest. With this limited edition bottling, Talisker "Wilder Seas", we invite wild spirits around the world to join us on our journey. Each 100% recycled bottle purchased represents a £3 donation to our joint cause to protect and preserve the oceans Not only is Talisker x Parley "Wilder Seas" helping to rewild the oceans, it is also Taliskers first single malt scotch whisky finished in French Oak XO Cognac casks. This gives the whisky a mature and rounded expression, with a strength on the palate with a depth of taste, as well as interesting notes from the cask ageing.  The golden amber colour of the whisky releases a rich aroma. Dried fruits and malt come through, with maritime notes of brine and salt crystals. Just a hint of tobacco comes forward, and if water is added a smokiness is released.  On the palate this is exceptional smooth and creamy, with a richness full of flavour. It starts sweet, before releasing salt, smoke and interestingly fruits in the mid palate. Pepper and spice develop on the tongue. When water is added, it's sweetness is enhanced, with ripe figs and spice coming forward.  The finish is long and warm. A late hit of pepper comes through and leaves a smoky fruitiness as an aftertaste. More from Talisker Perfect Serve We found that this was best enjoyed neat with a drop of water to bring the flavours out to the fullest. However, as with all whisky - enjoy however you like it!

Don Julio Reposado Don Julio González didn't have much, but what he did have was passion, and a dream. It all started back in Mexico in 1942 when he saw a unique opportunity in the production of tequila. After sharing his vision and securing a loan with a powerful local businessman, Don Julio opened his first tequila distillery in La Primavera, in the Jaliscan Highlands. It was his passion that inspired the world's first luxuary tequila.  Each day for 40 years, Don Julio would walk along the agave fields, cutting the grass around each plant (which were more like his children than a crop) to protect them. He'd harvest each plant individually, choosing those with the most optimum maturity and health and would expertly balance the bitter flavour of the piña (the heart) and the sweet leaves of the agave. The climate in the Jaliscan Highland's is the perfect microclimate for the blue agave, with warm days, cool nights and rich clay soil. The high altitude made farming and harvesting a challenge. It was physically demanding, but Don Julio endured the extreme conditions to create a luxuary tequila with exceptional substance and indisputable spirit. Don Julio Reposado Tequila is a soft and elegant aged tequila. The base is made using Don Julio Blanco, a tequila in it's truest form, unaged, double distilled and made with the finest blue agave using a time honoured distillation process. It is rested in American white oak barrels for 8 months, resulting in a tequila giving a golden amber colour and a rich and smooth finish. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of mellow lemon citrus, layered spice and a touch of ripe stone fruit. On the palate, you will enjoy hints of bitter dark chocolate, sweet vanilla and just a touch of cinnamon. The smooth and silky finish is warming with dried fruit, nuts and caramel apple. Filliers 10 Years Single Malt Whisky Distilling for over five generations, the Filliers distillery was initially only a side venture to their farming venture. It's this history, dating from 1880 that ensures Filliers create delicious and well loved drinks. They do as much on-site as they can. They pump their own spring water, gind the grain, create their own fruit and herb distillates, ferment, distill and age. Their Single Malt Whisky is a special drink. It's the oldest whisky from Belgium which has been rested and aged exclusively on ex-sherry barrels made from European Oak. Like the whole of their range of drinks, Filliers take care, and time creating their whisky. At least ten years in fact! This time in the barrels ensures maximum flavour in the final drink. As could be expected from 10 years in ex-sherry casks, the aroma had strong notes of Sherry to it.
