To this end, they hand-craft their drinks using only 100% natural ingredients which (where possible) they source locally. In this, their first non-alcoholic spirit, they have created a drink which captures all of the flavours from the botanicals used, in their purest form, just with no alcohol! In it's creation they carefully selected a number of botanicals; Lemon Verbena, Oak Bark, Wood Sage, Rosemary, Lemon Thyme, Nettle, Chamomile, Lemon Zest, Dandelion, Birch and Mulberry Leaf. Poetic License Old Tom Gin Reminiscent of the types of gin that were enjoyed in the 1800's, Old Tom Gin's are sweeter - and have been making a come back recently. With theirs, the Poetic License Distillery in Sunderland (North UK) have made a gin which is sweeter than their Dry Gin, but with a touch of pepper. The botanicals they use enhance the sweeter taste, and the oak casks they use continue to add additional flavour and colour. The inclusion of hibiscus and rose petals infuses their distinct character within the gin, also adding a delightful rose gold tinge. On the nose this gin is quite aromatic, with distinct floral aromas. However, with its juniper back note there is no forgetting this is a gin! On the palate the sweetness really comes through, tempered with the pepper spice - the sugary petal flavours blend perfectly. Lonewolf Cloudy Lemon Gin A haze of gin and sharp citrus. Like any wolf, this one is no different. This gin is ruled by the full moon, it's macerated in fresh Sicilian lemon peel for seven days before its released into the wild. Handcrafted in their distillery in Aberdeen (North Scotland, UK - and a part of the Brewdog family), the botanicals in this gin tell the own story. Scotch Pine (which compliments and bolsters the juniper), Tuscan juniper, grapefruit peel, lemon peel, pink peppercorn, orris root, angelica, mace, cardamom, lemongrass, kaffir lime, almonds, coriander, and Lavender. With a really strong lemon nose and a merciless juniper kick, this wolf is a crossbreed to be reckoned with. The bottle is pretty spectacular too, with the trademark punk wolf (obviously the rare lemon variety) on the front of the bottle. For their distinctly coloured Damson & Raspberry Gin, Wildjac have taken inspiration from the many fresh fruits availabile close to their distillery. They use Angelica, orange, organic autumn bliss raspberries and organic shropshire prune damsons from the Augernik Fruit Farm, juniper and coriander. Chivas Regal 18Y Gold Signature Whisky (Mini) 5cl

Chivas Regal 18Y Gold Signature Whisky Produced by Chivas Brothers (which is owned by Pernod Ricard) at the Strathisla distillery in Keith, Moray in Speyside (Scotland, UK). This distillery was founded in 1786, and is the oldest continuously operating Highland distillery. Launched in 1997 and created by Master Blender Colin Scott, this 18 year old aged whisky is a blend of over 20 single malts from across Scotland. The aging within the carefully selected casks develops intense flavours and ensures a refined whisky. According to Chivas it has an incredible 85 different flavour notes in each drop. So truly complex, rich and luxurious. The nose is rich and indulgent, drawing you into the whisky with multiple layers of aroma. Dried fruits and buttery toffee merge with dark chocolate and warming spices, all of which are rounded off with a touch of marmalade. On the palate the warming spices come through, on a drink which is velvet like, coating the mouth perfectly. The marmalade again comes through, merging with dark chocolate, a little mellow oak and smoke as well as a touch of elegant floral tones. On the finish the warm notes of spice, oak and in particular cinnamon come to the mouth - and finish extremely warm and long. Mermaid Spiced Rum Presented in a stunning "fish-scale" like bottle with a cork stopper, this rum is hand-crafted on the Isle of Wight (a small island off the south coast of the UK).  Mermaid Spiced Rum is a carefully selected blend of sugar cane and molasses rum from Trinidad and the Dominican Republic which have been aged between 2-5 years in oak bourbon whiskey barrels. On its arrival into the distillery, the blend is infused with local fruits and spices found on the Isle of Wight. The botanicals include rock samphire, fresh white cherry and apricot, honey from their own beehives and black salt from their floodtides. It is gently spiced using local holy grass, cassia and vanilla, resulting in a smooth yet complex rum with a hint of sea air, delicate caramel notes and a vibrant fruity spice. Did you know? Bloedlemoen Handcrafted Gin Pronounced ‘Blue’d Le Moon’, this is a South African gin which is made from the luscious Tarocco Blood Orange. It proudly calls out that it is the "first Blood Orange Gin" in the World. The story of this gin starts in 2015, when three food and drink industry specialists got together. They wanted to create a refreshing and delicious gin, one which was layered with the warmth of selected spices. Ensuring a good relationship with their suppliers is important, and they source their fruit from their selected growing partners based in the Western Cape of South Africa.  To create their contemporary gin they use a carefully selected blend of 10 different botanicals. Using a combination of maceration and vapour infusion (depending on the hardiness of the boanical) they extract maximum flavour and aroma.  The botanicals they chose are Juniper, Blood Orange, Orange Peel, Grains of Paradise, Coriander, Cassia bark, Nutmeg, Liquorice Root, Angelica Root and Cardamom. These blend to create the refreshing, yet warming gin they were originally looking for, On the nose this gin is full of citrus notes and a light piney juniper aroma, a hint of spice also greets you. On the palate, the blood orange is also present, along with a sweet spiciness of nutmeg which combines with Cassia and Grains of paradise perfectly adding to the mouthfeel. The Mayor of Exploration: Rynbende Vintage Genever Introduction Rynbende have a history going back more than 200 years. The distillery was established in 1793, by Simon Rybende in the world's Jenever capital, Schiedam. A former sailor, he turned to business, and distilling, and was even appointed the Mayor of Schiedam. A New Generation of Rynbende The Rynbende brand has had highs and lows during it's history and was re-ignited again in 2022, when the original Rynbende recipes were passed down to another generation through inheritance . Now called Rynbende Spirits, the focus is on producing high end spirits, with a selective distribution network (of which Gin Fling is happy to be one). Authentic Rynbended Botanicals Rynbender Vintage Genever was the first spirit to be launched and based on an old recipe found in the inherited recipe book. 'The Mayor of Exploration' is an old genever and is an ode to the glory days of the original distillery, containing authentic botanicals (peppermint leaf, angelica seed, cinnamon, clove, hyssop, angelica root, cardamom and mace) which gave it it's signature taste, setting it apart from the competition.
