V2C Classic Dutch Dry Gin 70cl

V2C Classic Dutch Dry Gin 70cl

V2C Classic Dutch Dry Gin V2C takes pride in its home (Amsterdam), but like the Dutch of old, looks to the wider world when thinking of ingredients. They ensure that the gin is created to the highest standards, and use ingredients harvested from across the world. With their name, they indicate the intent behind the gin. Four friends founded V2C, and it was named after the address they lived during their studies, the famous Victor de Stuersstraat 2C in Maastricht. To this end, the gin was created to encourage lively conversation and good times with friends. With their Classic gin, they pay homage to the more classic gin flvaours, but with a definite V2C twist. They use the freshest juniper, orange, licorice, laurel and St John’s Wort, which they subtly spice with coriander, cardamom, lemon and ginger. This is a gin which is definitely juniper-forward (another "classic" part to the gin), which is joined perfectly with soft spice and tangy fruit. This brings a subtle, light complexity to the drink. The taste has a lot of oily juniper which coats the mouth perfectly. Pine and cardamom spice are balanced by refreshing citrus notes. Theres also a hint of vanilla flower which creeps in. All round this is a delicious gin, classic, but with something a little extra. Read more about V2C Perfect Serve Serve in a highball glass or copa with a lot of ice cubes. Pour in 50ml of the gin, and top up the glass with 150 - 200ml of Fentimans Premium Tonic Water. Garnish with a slice of fresh ginger, fresh lemon and a few juniper berries. Alternatively, replace the Tonic with Rose Lemonade for a slightly sweeter drink. Garnish with a sliced strawberry and a few mint leaves. It also holds up exceptionally well in cocktails, so we encourage trying this out!

Brockmans Gin 70cl

Brockmans Gin 70cl

Brockmans Intensely Smooth Gin It starts with the bottle, opaque, dark and somewhat moody... it draws you to discover what's inside.... And what is inside? With this gin, if you like a smooth gin with berry flavours, and the zing of citrus, you certainly won't be disappointed.  Using the traditional notes of gin, they steep their unique recipe of botanicals in pure grain spirit until the natural oils and aromas are released. This ensures the flavours merge perfectly with the more traditional notes of gin. Bulgarian coriander provides an aromatic, gingery orange top note. Joining with this are the soft and rounded harmonies of the berries - blueberry and blackberry. The Tuscan juniper provides a base note, supporting these. Finally, dry, bittersweet Valencian orange peels elongate the deeper tones and give an intensely smooth finish.... from which the name comes This certainly is a "gin like no other", and shows why it has won numerous awards and is availale now in over 30 countries around the world. Read more about Brockmans Perfect Serve As this really is a deliciously smooth gin, with defined, yet definitely not overpowering flavours, it is very easily enjoyed neat over ice. Utilising in gin cocktails adds a whole new flavour profile from the defined botanical, and smooth flavour. However it's refreshingly different when served with tonic or ginger ale, with the bubbles helping to enhance the aromatics in the gin - drawing them to the nose, and tantalising the tastebuds. We love this with Double Dutch Indian Tonic or Ginger Ale. In a large glass filled with ice cubes, add 50ml of gin. Gently (so as to keep the bubbles) pour over the tonic, or ginger ale. For a gin & tonic, garnish with grapefruit slice, and a few blueberries. For ginger ale, we suggest a few mint leaves and a thin slice of ginger

Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Gin 70cl

Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Gin 70cl

Whitley Neill Handcrafted Rhubarb & Ginger Gin From the makers of the UK's number one best selling premium gin, comes their taste of an English country garden; Rhubarb & Ginger Gin. Whilst most of Johnny Neill's inspiration for his award-winning Gins comes from his ancestor's intrepid exploits abroad, this Rhubarb & Ginger Gin harks from fond memories made slightly closer to home. Post-war, the Whitley Family, now settled into rural England near Daresbury, cultivated their garden with thrilling flavours, serving as inspiration for both the table and indeed their experimentation with new Gins. Johnny's creation evokes childhood memories of visiting his grandparents on their farm by taking a firm Whitley family favourite in rhubarb and placed a warm twist on this with the addition of fresh ginger. Rhubarb and Ginger meld perfectly with Juniper, Coriander Seed, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, Angelica Root, Liquorice, Sweet Orange and Lemon to make this gin absolutely delicious. The essence of rhubarb adds a tart crisp edge to a smooth English gin base whilst the ginger extract warms the palate for a full-bodied finish. Read more about Whitley Neill Perfect Serve This works perfectly with a premium tonic such as Fentimans Premium Indian Tonic. But also works with Lemonade if you're not a fan of quinine (we recommend Three-Cents Sparkling Lemonade). Either way, add plenty of ice, and garnish with mint. For a double ginger hit, try with Fentimans Ginger Ale and also garnished with mint.

L'Arbre Gin 70cl

L'Arbre Gin 70cl

L'Arbre Gin With over 63 year experience, Teichenné Liquors have used their knowledge and expertise to create L’Arbre gin (L’Arbre is Catalan for “the tree”). Founded in Arboç (Tarragona), the owner (Marc Teichenné) has utilised botanicals of the Mediterranean Penedès area of Spain, creating the perfect formulation for a unique gin to enjoy those special moments. It is an exceptionally well-balanced gin, with the botanicals blending perfectly (these include thyme, basil, lavender and rosemary – all quintessential Mediterranean herbs). Whilst it has the balanced herbal flavour palette, it is also freshened with delightful notes of citrus, with the juniper taking a less leading role, blending with the other botanicals as almost a back note. Basil is noticeable, but this is balanced well with lavender. The tree (from which the gin takes its name) on the front of the bottle has a story of its own. A simple, classic bottle, the tree is front and centre. The roots symbolise the past, and the foundation. The branches represent what is to come and the future. The trunk holds the experience of the three generations of the company. Truly a Mediterranean gin, with a great provenance, made to enjoy unique moments. This fully deserves the many awards it has received. Read more about L'Arbre Perfect Serve This is a perfectly flavoured gin on its own, so we would encourage enjoying with a neutral tonic, such as Fentimans Indian Tonic. However, if you enjoy your g&t a little sweeter, try with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water. Use plenty of ice, and garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

Bombay Sapphire East Gin 70cl

Bombay Sapphire East Gin 70cl

Bombay Sapphire East Gin Made using the same vapour inusion method as in the Bombay Sapphire Gin, the East edition uses 2 additional east inspired botanicals to make a total of 12. Bombay Sapphire's Master of Botanicals (Ivano Tonutti) has spent much of his time in the Far East sourcing exotic botanicals for distilling, and with the East edition, this is his personal homage to that area. To the classic blend of botanicals, Thai Lemongrass and Vietnamense black peppercorns are added.  These two additional botanicals, along with the original ten (Almond, Angelica, Cassia, Coriander, Cubeb Pepper, Grains of Paradise, Juniper, Lemon, Licorice, and Orris Root) come together during the vapour infusion creating a gin that truly stands apart. With the infusion of the exotic eastern flavours, a wonderfully tasteful gin comes with more than a little added spice and a generous hint of citrus. The nose has a strong citrus edge to it, along with a hit from the black pepper. Through this permeates juniper and exotic flowers. The addition of the black pepper comes through in the flavour, with a balanced warmth, along with rich and fresh citrus notes. As the drink warms in the mouth delicate spice from coriander, angelica and orris come through. The finish is a delicious fusion of citrus and pepper. Read more about Bombay Sapphire Perfect Serve We love this gin with East Imperial Old World Tonic Water, but any neutral premium tonic would work too. In a large copa glass filled with ice add 50ml of the gin and 100ml of the tonic. Stir gently, and garnish with a stick of lemongrass.

MOM God Save the Gin Royal Smoothness 70cl

MOM God Save the Gin Royal Smoothness 70cl

MOM God Save the Gin Royal Smoothness "Always wear your invisible crown with MOM, the Queen of the Gins" With the aim of breaking stereotypes, the producers of MOM Gin (González Byass) created their Royal Smoothness edition. Even the design of the bottle is intended to represent the two sides of the British character; Tradition, and modernity. The gin itself is smooth (as you would suggest from the name) and distinctive. It's made with a total of four distillations which use exoic botanicals. The succesive distillations help ensure the smooth qualities of the gin. After this process the gin is infused with red berries (sweet raspberries, and tart, ripe redcurrants) which imbue their sweet fruity flavours.  Whilst MOM definitely exudes a feminine, fashionable and sophisticated feel, this is easily enjoyed by any who like their gins sweet and fruity. This is great for those who like their gin with a quieter note of juniper. The flavour of this gin is sweet and is full of the berry flavours and aromas, with the juniper being far more delicate (although it's still present). Read more about MOM Perfect Serve To create a delicious G&T take a large glass and fill with ice, pour 50ml of Mom Royal Smoothness and mix with a 150 - 200ml of a neutral tonic (we recommend Three Cents Tonic). Garnish with a couple of Maraschino Cherries and you can even add a few drops of the syrup to create a pink hue to the drink and a little sweetness. If you like your drink super fruity, replace the tonic with Three Cents Cherry Soda. Dont forget extra cherries to garnish as well!
