Brighton Gin Pavilion Strength (Mini) 5cl

Brighton Gin Pavilion Strength The Brighton Gin distillery is located in the vibrant seaside town of Brighton (on the south coast of England), and has a focus on sustainable and ethical production. Brighton Gin was created from a love of gin, and a love of Brighton,, living the values of the city, being independent, fun-loving, open-minded and adventurous. Whether you are a gin enthusist or have just started your gin journey, this premium gin has been made for you. Brighton Gin is made using an alcohol base made of 100% organic pure wheat. Not only is Brighton Gin certified vegan (including the waxed bottle tops), but due to the distillation process, it's also gluten free. Their delicious gins are made using a blend of botanicals that include juniper, fresh orange and lime peel, as well as locally grown coriander, which is the first grown commercially in the UK in over 200 years. These are joined by milk thistle (a flowering herb), which is indigenous to the South Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty in the south of England. Brighton Gin Pavilion Strength is a classic gin with a delicate spice backnote, and subtle juniper. Joined with hints of orange through the drink, this makes it an easily approachable (and drunk) gin. The lime and milk thistle help to make this particularly refreshing and deliciously smooth   More from Brighton Gin Perfect Serve For a refreshing G&T add 50ml Brighton Gin Pavilion Strength into a glass with ice and top up with 150-200ml of mixer and garnish with a slice of orange. Brighton Gin founder, Kathy prefers a light tonic or soda water - why not mix with Fentimans (they have both). If you prefer a herbaceously and fragrant cocktail, then a Basil Smash is perfect (and not so hard to make). Activate the basil (8 leaves), by giving it a slap in your hands, then place in a cocktail shaker and use a muddler to bash them up a bit. Add 60ml Brighton Gin Pavilion Strength, 25ml fresh lime juice and 15ml sugar syrup. Add ice and shake, shake, shake for about 15 seconds. Double strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a basil leaf. If you like a longer drink, pour into a highball glass and top up with soda water.

Ballantine's Finest Whisky (Mini) 5cl

Ballantine's Finest Whisky (Mini) 5cl

Ballantine's Finest Whisky With a heritage that dates back to 1827, Ballantines is one of the most known and loved Scotch Whisky brands in the world. It started with George Ballantine in a small grocery store in Edinburgh. Here he would supply a range of whiskies to his customers. his developed into a larger establishment in Edinburgh, where along with his son George Junior they began to create their own blends. In 1920, the recipe for Ballantine's Finest was created, and it has stayed true to the original ever since. The result is a whisky which has become Europe's No. 1 Scotch Whisky, and was voted the World's Best Blended Scotch in 2020. Fun Fact: During prohibition, the bottles were designed to be square so that American Salesmen could conceal them in their briefcases without them rolling around should any inspectors be around! Finest is a great classic all-rounder. It has a light gold colour, and a nose which is soft, with notes of heather, honey and just a hint of delicate spice. The flavour is balanced well, subtle, and has hints of milk chocolate, red apples and vanilla. The finish leaves the palate feeling fresh, with a floral after-taste. More from Ballantine's Perfect Serve As a classic, balanced all-rounder, this is easily enjoyed on its own, over ice, or with a splash of water. It works well in the mix too, either in cocktails, or more simply with a mixer such as cola or ginger ale. Try adding 50ml to a highball glass filled with ice, then top up with a quality cola or ginger ale (we like Fentimans). Delicious, and really refreshing.

Dead Man's Fingers Hazelnut Rum 70cl

Dead Man's Fingers Hazelnut Rum 70cl

Dead Man's Fingers Hazelnut Rum Created at a famous seafood restaurant in Cornwall (a county in the very south-west of the UK) called the Rum & Crab Shack, they wanted to do things a little different..... "We looked at what everyone else was doing, then we did the opposite" Why Dead Man's Fingers?.... this was actually inspired by one of the most popular items on the menu. Crab is exceptionally popular, and the long, finger-like gills inside the crab are called ‘dead man’s fingers’ (folklore says if you eat them, you'll die..... this isn't true, they're just not the tastiest, so are removed and discarded). With their Hazelnut Rum, Dead Man's Fingers have created another delicious variation of their spiced rum. The nutty aroma of toasted hazelnuts, a hint of chocolate and sweet vanilla is hard to resist, and with the flavour mirroring the delicious aroma, the nutty smoothness continues. Finishing with a dusting of cocoa and of course the delicious spice, how can you resist? More from Dead Man's Fingers Perfect Serve This rum is a great all-rounder. For a refreshing long drink, pour 50ml Hazelnut Rum into a glass full of ice and top up with 150-200ml Fever-tree Distiller Cola - the vanilla in the cola works perfectly.  If you love milk, then this is ideal in a boozy milkshake (chocolate or vanilla) or add a splash to your latte. For the cocktail lovers, it's a great alternative in an Old fashioned. Add 50ml Hazelnut Rum with 10ml simple syrup and a dash or 2 of angostura bitters, and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum 70cl

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum 70cl

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum This rum is part of Plantation’s Signature Blends range. A series of rums from the Caribbean and South pacific that are finished in France, using local knowledge from the Cognac region, and using secret recipes from Maison Ferrand, producers of cognac and other fine spirits. Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum is made from extra-old rums from Barbados and was developed to honour Alexandre Gabriel’s 20 years as Master Blender. The rums are chosen for structure and aromatic characteristics that are well suited for intensive oak ageing. From its first release, this edition was very well received by rum enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike, and over a decade later this rum continues to receive positive reviews and top awards. This Signature Blend is made using rums from Barbados, which have first been aged in bourbon casks under the tropical sun for 8-15 years. When ready, the barrels set sail for France to be further aged on the continent for 2-10 years, using a mixture of new white oak, bourbon and Ferrand (cognac) casks, each with a different level of toasting. This centuries-old process of “double ageing“ adds smoothness and complexity to the finished rum. On the nose there are initial fruity and floral aromas which lead to notes of sweet vanilla, cocoa and milk. On the palate there are complex layers of chocolate, vanilla, ripe banana and roasted coconut. There is also a hint of fresh mango from the long maturation process in the French oak casks, a flavour that confirms the rums advanced age. With a delicious long finish, this rum is one to be savoured. More from Plantation Perfect Serve To enjoy Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum, add to a glass with a large ice cube, sip slowly and enjoy. If you don’t like your rum neat, add a drop of coconut water for a delicious drink with a tropical vibe.

King of Soho Variorum Gin 70cl

King of Soho Variorum Gin 70cl

King of Soho Variorum Gin The story behind the King of Soho gins starts with Alex Robson, and Howard Raymond sat drinking a classic gin cocktail. Howard's father was Paul Raymond, a property tycoon, who revolutionised the area of Soho in London, making it the cultural centre it is today. They wanted to create something which was a true homage to the legacy left by Paul. The result is The King of Soho Gin, itself a reference to Paul. The bottle is bold and colourful, embodying the characteristics that make the area of Soho unique, reflecting both the past and the present of this vibrant and hedonistic district of London. Their Variorum edition (which is a Pink Berry Gin), utilises their original London Dry, and adds deliciously fruity notes of strawberry. In this edition it is the strawberry, floral notes of chamomile and again citrus which are the key botanicals. The strawberry flavours are entirely natural. Interesting fact: A variorum edition (in literature) is an original works with notes. The creativity, and literary works of Soho inspired this. On the nose there is a defined fresh strawberry note, joined by floral chamomile, a hint of juniper and a touch of citrus. On the palate there is a gentle sweetness, with a burst of strawberry flavour. A light citrus touch helps ensure the sweetness is not too pronounced, and is joined by creamy vanilla, along with a touch of juniper and floral notes from chamomile. Read more about King of Soho Perfect Serve Delicious enjoyed as a longer drink, and it pairs well with tonics of lemonades. We love this paired with Fentimans Gently Sparkling Elderflower. Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150 - 200ml of the mixer and stir well. Garnish with a sliced strawberry. For something a little creamier, try a Variorum Foxy. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add 35ml of the Varorium Gin, 25ml of Baileys Cream Liqueur, 25ml of Milk and 25ml of Cream. Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of Strawberry

Don Julio Reposado 70cl

Don Julio Reposado 70cl

Don Julio Reposado Don Julio González didn't have much, but what he did have was passion, and a dream. It all started back in Mexico in 1942 when he saw a unique opportunity in the production of tequila. After sharing his vision and securing a loan with a powerful local businessman, Don Julio opened his first tequila distillery in La Primavera, in the Jaliscan Highlands. It was his passion that inspired the world's first luxuary tequila.  Each day for 40 years, Don Julio would walk along the agave fields, cutting the grass around each plant (which were more like his children than a crop) to protect them. He'd harvest each plant individually, choosing those with the most optimum maturity and health and would expertly balance the bitter flavour of the piña (the heart) and the sweet leaves of the agave. The climate in the Jaliscan Highland's is the perfect microclimate for the blue agave, with warm days, cool nights and rich clay soil. The high altitude made farming and harvesting a challenge. It was physically demanding, but Don Julio endured the extreme conditions to create a luxuary tequila with exceptional substance and indisputable spirit. Don Julio Reposado Tequila is a soft and elegant aged tequila. The base is made using Don Julio Blanco, a tequila in it's truest form, unaged, double distilled and made with the finest blue agave using a time honoured distillation process. It is rested in American white oak barrels for 8 months, resulting in a tequila giving a golden amber colour and a rich and smooth finish. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of mellow lemon citrus, layered spice and a touch of ripe stone fruit. On the palate, you will enjoy hints of bitter dark chocolate, sweet vanilla and just a touch of cinnamon. The smooth and silky finish is warming with dried fruit, nuts and caramel apple. More from Don Julio Perfect Serve Perfect to be served on the rocks or in an after dinner cold bre cocktail. Pour 45ml Don Julio Reposado Tequila into a cocktail shaker with ice and add 60ml cold milk. If you like a little sweetness, add 10ml sugar syrup (add more or less to taste). Shake well and strain into a glass with ice and pour in 30ml cold brew coffee.
