Story
In Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, we help the title character get to an abandoned, star casino, which was once one of the hideouts of the sinister Handsome Jack, known from the second installment of the Gearbox Software series. What secrets and riches does the treasury of this place hide?
Gameplay
The gameplay in Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot does not differ significantly from what we know from the base game. We are still dealing with a first-person shooter, in which the main part of the game is to eliminate enemies, develop your characters and acquire more and more powerful equipment. The add-on does not introduce any new playable characters - we continue the game with one of the heroes known from the base. To start the DLC storyline, it will be necessary to reach the Sanctuary III ship in the main campaign of Borderlands 3 (enemies and rewards scale to the advancement level of our Vault Hunter). The add-on introduces enemies and locations related to the Hyperion corporation and its late president, Handsome Jack, to the game. Thus, some of the novelties are modeled on what we know from the second part of the cycle, but the DLC also introduces completely new things - including powerful bosses to defeat. For those who manage to conquer the casino, treasures in the form of money, Eridium and completely new, legendary equipment await. You can also earn cosmetic items - emotes, Echo skins, and the like.
