You can enjoy the game in either single player or multiplayer depending on your preferences. The racing in the game is well developed with updated physics and handling engines. In F1 2018 there are many options which you can modify in order to make your game more arcade or simulation type. Game modes F1 2018 single player mode provides you with a well-developed campaign where you start as a newbie racer only to climb up on the ladder and finally become a champion. Furthermore, at the beginning of the game, you can pick your rival, who is going to constantly follow your progress and be your biggest competitor. The most interesting aspect of the career mode is the fact that the game can change racing rules in the next season. It makes the game much more dynamic, complex, and unpredictable. Furthermore, it is true to the realistic F1 realities.  F1 2018 features changes often shift the balance of power between teams and drivers. In fact, one of such changes had led to the Ferrari domination for a few years. During the career, the driver is going to also participate in the interviews, which are going to shape his character and fan opinions about him. You can participate in races against other players in both ranked and unranked mode. In ranked mode, you are going to gain points for winning and lose them, when you are defeated. It uses the standard ELO system, thanks to which most of the time you are going to be placed in games with people of a similar level of skill.  Reception F1 2018 review for PC game were mostly positive. Fans usually point out the interesting career and great physics of the game. The improvement in regard to the AI has also been praised.
