Before starting each mission, we build the hull of a ship of any shape from hexagonal parts. At its end, we install the engine (at the beginning only one, but with time we will earn extra), and then we place the load on the hull. When we are ready, the ship goes on its way, and we start building additional devices on the free hexes, such as laser turrets, rocket launchers, shield generators and boosters. We use all this not only to repel enemy attacks, but also to eliminate natural threats (e.g. asteroids). After taking off, we have no control over the flight route of the unit, but it is possible to control the weapons and other on-board systems. The game offers a great variety of challenges. In addition to several enemy factions, there are also bosses in the form of giant ships or space monsters. The situation is similar with the transported goods - they have been divided into several categories, and each of them requires different conditions during the journey.

There is a choice of gender, facial appearance and hairstyles for each of these breeds. In Guardian of the Elements, players receive a completely new crafting system. It is enough to develop the appropriate skill tree and crafting unique items will not be difficult. You can also upgrade your current items. The creation system was based on simple rules. Item will be based on the main material that we declare at the beginning of the creation process. Then we decide on the color and general appearance of the item. We can stuff it with spikes or cover it with crystals. Each of the armor decorations provides different bonuses. In addition, the game will feature gems called "demon stones". They come in two types: "lesser" and "greater". The former are common, while the latter are powerful pebbles, very rare, available only after making a series of qeusts. You can put them on armor and weapons, which will increase their statistics. You can take them off and put them in a backpack at any time, or replace them with others. The game features 22 new special abilities and eight completely new skills, the so-called "Ultimate Skills", available only to players with the highest experience levels. Also new are almost a hundred items, including unique, very rare weapons and sets of clothes, which, when completed, will provide bonuses for the entire set. Opponents also gained new abilities. Various monsters will stand in our way. The AI has been improved so that the player has to be more careful when choosing his equipment and deciding on tactics. Appears in the ability to trade between players. There is also a multiplayer that has basic modes such as co-operative. The character movement system has been improved. The camera is suspended loosely and can be rotated and tilted at any angle. In addition to the well-known "Point & Click" system, it is also possible to lead the hero with the standard "WSAD" key combination. Following the example of MMO games, the simple interface of the game has become mobile, thanks to which we can place keyboard shortcuts, minimap and frames depicting team members on the screen at our will. The graphics are improved compared to the original. The add-on offers players twenty different locations and areas. Completing subsequent races can be done in several ways. For example, you can drive the whole thing while still controlling your competitor. However, you can speed up the game speed and even take part in the struggle only during the most important fragments or completely skip a given stage, relying on computer AI. The production was created by the authors of the original, i.e. the Deck 13 studio, which previously worked with the Polish team of CI Games on the game Lords of the Fallen. Story The Surge 2 takes us on a journey to the dark science fiction universe created for the purposes of the first part of the series, in which machines have turned against humans. We meet the main character when his plane is knocked down by a nanostorm over the suburbs of the city of Jericho. A few weeks later, the protagonist wakes up in a ruined prison and quickly notices that the metropolis is plunged into chaos - its streets are raging with rebellious robots, which caused the military to declare martial law, leaving ordinary citizens to their fate. As if that were not enough, a mighty storm hung over Jericho. Gameplay In The Surge 2, the action is shown from the third person perspective (TPP). While traversing vast locations, we mainly focus on fighting enemies. Equipped with an exoskeleton, the hero uses melee weapons, but at his disposal there is also a combat drone, the skillful use of which can change the fate of many duel. The clashes are dynamic, and their tactical sense is useful. We have to carefully observe the adversaries' movements in order to find gaps in their defense as quickly as possible and parry their attacks (if we indicate the direction from which the attack is coming, we will be able to counter). In addition, just like in the first part of the series, you need to target specific body parts of your opponents here. By attacking an armored limb, we can cut it off to take over a given weapon or armament after the end of the skirmish; by focusing on the weak point, we ensure ourselves the ability to perform a quick kill. In the course of the game, we gain so-called Modular Points, which allow us to increase the vitality, stamina and energy reserve (needed to use the special capabilities of individual armor elements). In addition, the combat potential of the protagonist is increased with the help of special implants that provide him with various skills. The above-mentioned drone is also susceptible to modifications, which makes it an increasingly indispensable support for us in the course of the adventure.
