To shorten the time required to take readings users can pre-set pressure levels or set them to automatic. The UA-1020 offers the option of TriCheck™ measurement which allows users to take three consecutive readings and receive an average, complying with the American Heart Association’s latest recommendation. A&D Medical looked at the common problems experienced when taking blood pressure readings and developed the UA-1020’s Advanced Warning System. This system helps avoid problems letting users quickly get the most accurate readings possible. The monitor benefits from extremely accurate Oscillometric BP measurement, first developed and patented by A&D back in 1984. It also boasts A&D’s unique technology for Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) and AFib screening, pioneered by A&D in 2001 and now found on most of our range of blood pressure monitors. The covers are impregnated with an anti-bacterial material and are easy to fit .  Remove the vinyl rings from the old arm cuff and install them in the new arm cuff cover.
