Carrier KAL455 Addressable Manual Call Point Red 400 Series Surface Mount with GlassThe KAL455 is a RED addressable manual call point for manual fire activation of fire detection systems running Kilsen protocol. Up to 125 KAL455 devices may be installed on every loop. Device addressing is done via easy-to-use DIP switches.The KAL455 provides an LED indication as well as manual test facilities. The LED may be configured to incite communication with the fire panel as confirmation of proper operation. Accessories for flush mounting are available.Manual call points are normally used as a user interface to an automatic fire detection system. It allows the user a direct interface into the system to create an alarm at a very early stage possibly even before the fire system has detected the fire or as a confirmation of a fire alarm.The KAL455 is normally fixed on a wall at a height of 1.2 to 1.5 m from the floor.
