Micro Machines: World Series is another part of the cult series of arcade racing games, developed by the Codemasters Software team. The series was born in 1991, and since 2006, when Micro Machines V4 went on sale, it has not appeared on personal computers or consoles. Nevertheless, the success of his mobile spin-off ultimately convinced the creators of a big comeback. This is how the production discussed here was born, which was released, among others, on the PC, PS4 and XONE platforms. Just like in the legendary original, in Micro Machines: World Series we take control of remotely controlled car models. We have 12 different vehicles at our disposal, including space for exotic racing cars and trucks that wreak real havoc on the track. Individual machines are equipped with a diverse arsenal - we are talking about rocket launchers, grenade launchers, flamethrowers, or even machine guns. Attention is drawn to unusual locations in which we have to fight for a place on the podium. The races take place on pool tables, in sheds, on backyard sidewalks, and finally on the kitchen table known from the original, which is full of obstacles in the form of cups, cutlery, plates and food scraps. Interestingly, the key to victory is the elimination of other opponents, as well as getting acquainted with the individual routes - these are diversified by numerous obstacles like spilled oil, which can be used to turn the tide of the race. In Micro Machines: World Series on PC, PS4 and XONE platforms, we can play virtual competitions both alone and in the company of other players. In addition to classic races, other variants of the game await you to test, including combat in a closed arena in Battle Mode, or popular modes such as King of the Hill or Capture the Flag. It is worth mentioning that in multiplayer you can play not only over the network (twelve players can participate in the struggle at the same time), but also on a split screen, competing with up to three people.

F1 2013 is the next installment of the licensed series of races, developed by Codemasters, specializing in this genre. The title, for the first time in history, offers the possibility of riding in the leather of Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Sergio Perez (McLaren-Mercedes). There are two production editions - regular and Classic. Both allow you to play as all the drivers from the 2013 season, which are driven on virtual equivalents of real tracks, as well as to play classic races from the 80s. The difference between the releases is the option to participate in races from the 90s, a time when drivers such as Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi or Gerhard Berger competed. As standard, this attraction is only available to Classic edition buyers, but it is possible to buy it as part of the DLC for the regular F1 2013 version. Developers took care to introduce the current rules and remodel the controls to reflect the essence of this sport even better than before. A number of different single and multiplayer modes are available to players. The creators will allow, among other things, to race in a traditional campaign, play multiplayer over the Internet, as well as on a split screen. The return, after a year of absence, also completed the Grand Prix module, which allows you to play the entire racing weekend (training, qualifying, race). The main option is a career, in which, starting with the weakest teams, we climb up the hierarchy to become the Formula 1 champion. There were also specially prepared challenges. We take part in them in situations invented by the developer. Thanks to this, it is possible, for example, to participate in a race during which an accident occurred on the track. Additionally, the game is fully integrated with RaceNet. It allows you to compare your achievements with friends, check your statistics, actively participate in the life of the production community, etc. The graphics of F1 2013 represent almost the same level as the previous edition. So it is still a game rich in details and spectacular. The whole is complemented by decent audio, and the Polish distributor took care of the full polonization of the production.
