Siege the Day is a tower defense strategy game in which we create our own castle in a fantasy world and defend it against enemy attacks. Hidden Tower Studios is responsible for the creation of the title, with several smaller productions to their credit. The game could be tested in Early Access.GameplayEach battle takes place on a map divided into two sectors: ours and the enemy. During the clashes , we receive a certain number of points, which we spend on expanding the castle . The available objects include typically defensive structures, such as walls, gates or towers, offensive ones, such as siege machines, and buildings that allow you to recruit support units. When we decide we are ready or we have run out of points, we go into battle.Game modesThere are several game modes available in the game. The first one is training: it allows you to face the AI ​​without gaining experience points or subsequent ranks. The second is a campaign which consists in going through certain stages in a predetermined order. The third is a quick match, working on similar principles as training, with the difference that it gives us experience and allows us to gain new ranks. These ranks, in turn, are needed for the last of the modes, i.e. battles with other players. PvP duels are held in the same way as with AI, i.e. 1 on 1. We get the opportunity to construct our castle, and then we move on to a real-time duel, during which we try to get rid of the opponent's fortifications.
