Suitable for use in hazardous areas the FlameSpec simulators can be used at distances of up to 23.0 feet 7.0 meters from the detector.Three different models are available for testing each type of flame detector IR3 IR3H2 and UVIR.All Fike flame detectors perform automatic selftests of their optics windows electronics and software. Additionally the Fike flame detectors can be manually put into alarm via the detectors communicator software or by short circuiting the Manual BIT terminal and the 24 VDC terminal for one second. The flame simulators are economic and ideal for ongoing maintenance. They are lightweight and very easy to use. They can be used in a hazardous area and can test in distances of up to 23 feet away from the detectors reducing the need for scaffolding.They are ideal for applications where commissioning and periodic system testing is required for the detectors. There are other versions available.
