These Forgefix Through Bolts (also known as Wedge Anchors or Toothless Anchors) have a Zinc Yellow Passivated finish for durability and corrosion resistance. They are through-fixing, and extremely economical and quick to install. APPLICATIONIdeal for fixing brackets, cladding, restraints, racking, fabricated stairwells and industrial doors.Ensure the correct socket drive or spanner is used to ensure accurate installation. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the Galvanised and Zinc Plated processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It provides a coating that is aesthetically pleasing, and which offers excellent resistance to corrosion.

These Forgefix Cable Ties are suitable for a range of tasks in areas including: gardening, electrical installations, sign installation, point of sale applications and much, much more. They can be joined together, increasing the size and diameter reach. The cable tie consists of a tape section with triangular teeth that slope in one direction, as in a ratchet mechanism. The head of the cable tie has a slot with a flexible pawl that rides up the slope of these teeth when the tape is inserted. Once the pointed tip of the cable tie has been pulled through the case and past the ratchet, it is prevented from being pulled back; the resulting loop may only be pulled tighter. Extensive size range from 100-450mm. Available in widths 2.5-8.0mm. The ties have a temperature range for continuous use from 40-85C.

These Forgefix Cavity Wall Anchors are a specialist plasterboard fixing with Pozi compatible and slotted combination drive insert. They have an all-metal construction for applications which require heat resistance and are Zinc Plated for increased resistance to corrosion. The anchors have anti-rotation teeth, which pierce the base plasterboard skin to ensure firm anchorage. APPLICATION:All metal construction means the anchors are suitable for the heavier duty tasks such as fixing radiators and wall units. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrates surface integrity as it is formed. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminum and stainless steels by their oxide layers.
