After a long time of quiet, a renewed alien attack puts the survival of human civilization in jeopardy.StoryAction Gun Metal takes place in the distant future. Humanity has fallen victim to an invasion by an aggressive alien race. The survivors managed to leave the Blue Planet and the borders of the Solar System to find shelter on the distant planet of Helios. After years of prosperity when it seemed that the threat had already been averted, their former enemies followed in the footsteps of the Earthlings. Fortunately, this time people are not defenseless, and the title Gun Metal - an advanced, walking combat machine, capable of turning into a futuristic fighter gives hope for repelling the attack. The player takes on the role of his pilot, trying to tilt the scales of victory to the inhabitants of Helios.GameplayGun Metal consists of fourteen missions. The tasks we are faced with include both offensive and defensive operations , so we have to participate in the defense of cities, escorting convoys, protecting the retreat of allies, as well as eliminating enemy troops. We pursue our goals in different environments - we fight in deserts, in valleys crossed by rivers, in narrow canyons, in densely forested, mountainous areas or in winter scenery. Opponents have a variety of units: from infantry and hovercraft, through armored transporters and tanks, to well-armed fighters.
