Delphinium 'Delgenius Neva' (Pot Size: 3 Litre Pot)

Delphinium 'Delgenius Neva' (Pot Size: 3 Litre Pot)

Delphinium ‘Delgenius Neva’ is part of the innovative Delgenius series, which introduces a new standard in Delphinium breeding. This series boasts three different colour varieties, each bred to be significantly more sturdy and compact than traditional Delphiniums. ‘Delgenius Neva’ stands out with its robust stems and delightful multi-branching habit, ensuring a continuous display of white semi-double flowers throughout the Summer months. Our horticultural team loves ‘Delgenius Neva’ for its versatility and hardy resilience. Unlike many Delphiniums, this variety is less prone to flopping, making it a reliable choice for both garden borders and containers. Its compact growth habit makes it perfect for smaller spaces, while its prolific blooming ensures a stunning display in any setting. The semi-double flowers of ‘Delgenius Neva’ are ideal for cutting gardens, providing an endless supply of beautiful blooms for floral arrangements. These perennials add height, texture and structure to borders, where their elegant spires create a striking vertical element. They also thrive in pots, allowing gardeners to enjoy their beauty up close on patios, balconies, or terraces. ‘Delgenius Neva’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, requiring minimal maintenance for maximum impact. Its robust nature and continuous flowering make it a true favourite among gardeners, bringing a sense of elevated design to any garden space.

Citrus Mini Lemon Tree (Pot Size: 15cm)

Citrus Mini Lemon Tree (Pot Size: 15cm)

This miniature marvel is a true botanical delight with her slender stem and glossy evergreen foliage. This ornamental mini Meyer lemon tree will infuse your surroundings with Mediterranean charm, casting her spell of lush greenery and enchanting fragrance. Self-fertile, this little tree will grace you with dainty, white aromatic blossoms between March and August (depending on conditions). But the real showstopper is yet to come – the lemons themselves. Ripening over 12 months means that you will almost certainly be graced with flowers and fruit at the same time, with fruits ready from October onwards – delightful Meyer Lemons, full of tangy goodness. From cooking to cocktail-making they are your secret ingredient for culinary greatness. Compact yet vibrant, the mini stem Meyer lemon tree stands approximately 55cm – 60cm tall (including the pot). The ideal companion for brightening up your living space, whether perched on a sunlit windowsill or adorning your patio, she will add a slice of zest to your daily life. Elevate your surroundings, awaken your senses, and embrace the natural beauty of this charming little tree. Perfect for a unique gift and captivating addition to any home – a little piece of citrusy heaven that’s sure to make you smile. We will always pick the best plant on our nursery for you, however, please note that fruit on your citrus plant is not guaranteed, as this will be dependent on the time of year – with fruits being produced normally from beginning of autumn for most varieties. Plants ordered later in the season are more likely to drop their fruits in transit or may be despatched without fruit if they have finished producing. With correct feeding and care they will continue to fruit with the next cycle.

Hellebore HGC White - Gift Wrapped (Pot Size: 2 Litre Pot)

Hellebore HGC White - Gift Wrapped (Pot Size: 2 Litre Pot)

Christmas Roses such as Hellebore HGC® Diva®, Helleborus HGC® Jesko and Helleborus HGC® Wintergold happily grow and thrive well without requiring a great deal of maintenance if planted in the right spot. Even in planters, the charming winter flowerers don’t require a great deal of work. When hellebores lay down leaves and flowers on the ground on frosty nights, they may appear frozen. It’s a normal reaction of the plants to protect against the cold. When temperatures rise above freezing, the plant will straighten back up again. To avoid the occurrence of frost drought, water the Helleborus plants sufficiently during periods of mild weather. We will select from choice of Helleborus HGC® CR Jesko, Helleborus HGC® CR Wintergold  or Helleborus HGC® CR Diva® all from German breeder, Heuger, for whom we are the official UK partner.  The perfect wintry gift! In the summer, you want to move the planter to a shady place and water it occasionally to prevent the plant from drying out. Flowers Removing dead flowers from hellebores during the flowering season is normally not necessary; the slightly pink or green tones the flowers take on as they fade actually extend the flowering season in winter. Remove the seed pods before they open, as offspring plants normally don’t flower well and might suppress the original plants. Leaves The old and brown leaves of Christmas Roses and Snow Roses are best be removed in the spring and summer. Feeding Helleborus plants do not require any fertiliser in their first spring. Feed older plants from February onwards and apply a second dressing of fertiliser in midsummer, when the plants grow new roots and initiate flower buds for the next season. Organic fertilizers such as horn shavings and compost have proven to be the fertilizers of choice. If the plants suffer lime deficiency, soils can be improved by working in Dolomite lime or crushed eggshells. The leaves that have fallen off nearby deciduous trees provide a layer of mulch in winter; simply leave them lying on the ground. They form a layer that activates soil life. Helleborus is very sensitive to root injuries. For this reason, the ground around it should not be dug.
