Husqvarna Mohs' Hardness Test Kit
The Husqvarna Mohs test kit provides users with a means of conducting a simple scratch to determine the rough hardness or measure of the resistance of a smooth surface to scratching or abrasion.
It is ideally suited for a variety of industrial uses, including in conjunction with surface preparation equipment when deciding which diamond tool bond to use for optimal performance on concrete surfaces and floors in order to achieve the best finish.
The Mohs scale of mineral hardness is a qualitive original scale from 1 to 10, which was devised by German mineralogist Friedrich Mohs in 1812.
The kit consists of four non-tarnishing Nickel-plated brass pin vice holders for the hardness points. It has been optimised specifically for concrete hardness testing and is supplied in a rigid moulded protective plastic case complete with customised instructions for use on common industrial materials.
