Background drift is daily compensated to maintain the original calibrated sensitivity within the required limits.Once a day the detector performs a full diagnostic test that includes dynamically testing the sensing chamber and internal electronics. If a detector drifts out of sensitivity range or fails the internal diagnostics test this is reported back to the panel and indicated on the detector with a yellow fault LED.Maintenance friendly sensitivity level test modeThe 700 Series photoelectric detectors include a sensitivity test mode that may be activated by simply holding a magnet near the detectors test point. This initiates a self-diagnostic routine and provides visual indication if service is required. The Excellence series inputoutput devices are designed to provide much needed flexibility to input monitoring and output switching. These modules combined with the powerful of a Kidde Excellence series addressable CIE give customers versatility for diverse applications. The KE-IU3110 is a Kidde Excellence series addressable single input unit with integrated short circuit loop isolation. Powered directly from the Excellence loop it offers an input with selectable line supervision. The KE-IU3110 is designed to monitor any potential free contacts. Any normally open or normally closed contact may be selected to be supervised or unsupervised. Normal open passive active or short circuit states on the input are reported back to the CIE where depending on the programming separate actions may be taken for any of these states. The KE-IU3110 may be located anywhere on the Kidde Excellence loop where it occupies only 1 of 128 available addresses. Housed in a low profile molding the interface is designed to clip directly onto a standard DIN rail fixing or be installed in a suitable wall mount housing. It is intended for installation inside the equipment to be switched thereby offering savings in installation costs compared with long auxiliary circuit wiring runs from the control panel. The KE-IU3110 is connected to the CIE via a 2-wire communication loop that carries both power and control data. Tri-Colour LED indicators positioned on the front face of the unit provide the engineer with clear identification of the operational state of the unit as well as the status of any input andor output control. In addition the panel offers supervised outputs for first stage notification second stage notification as well as optical warning indicators and actuator activation. Standard relay outputs are provided for EN54 compliance and system status notification as well as multiple inputs for system control.OptionsThe panels support 2 types of auxiliary relay boards one with 4 standard relays and one with 4 supervised relays. In the event of losing connectivity with a networked master unit ESTCU-11LT is able to perform fire alarm scenarios independently thanks to the configuration recorded locally. While attached to the main communication ring of the system EST-CU-11LT can control amplifiers and power supply managers as well as receive alarm and digital signals and send them to other system devices.EST-CU-11LT Control Unit distributes audio signals to individual zones and ensures that individual zones function properly.
