Used in combination with two-pole voltage testers to verify that they are safe for use both before and after testing periods. A Portable lightweight unit with two integrated ports designed to house the probe tips of a voltage tester. Once the probes are inserted into these holes and the MPU690 is activated it will test voltage levels in five steps - 50, 100, 230, 400 and 690V. When each voltage passes the proving unit's tests an LED light will switch on on the front of the tester. Designed to work automatically whenever its needed, the MPU690 will power on once testing probes are inserted into the unit and it will then simulate a 50Hz output voltage designed to represent AC mains supply. The MPU690 is perfectly acceptable for use with other makes and models of two-pole voltage testers. 5 stepped nominal output voltages. High output power suitable for test lamps. Extended battery life, although the unit has a high output the unit has exceptionally good battery life. The rugged case of the MPU690 features a magnetic base for convenient use. N.B. The MPU690 is not recommended for use with multi- meters.

The Megger DCM330 Fork Multimeter is a truly versatile compact test instrument which eliminates the need for a separate multi-meter and clamp meter. Compact pocket sized design. Auto power-off. Auto Ranging. 200A a.c. open jaw current measurement. 0.1V to 1000V auto-ranging ac and dc voltage measurement. 0.1 ohms to 20.00 Mohms resistance range. Continuity buzzer and diode check. The open-jaw design enables simple and fast measurements to be made on single conductors up to 16mm diameter. It provides average responding RMS values, and with the conductor(s) positioned centrally and squarely within the jaws, achieves readings of better than 3% accuracy. Voltage detection function can identify the presence of live a.c voltages from 50V to 1000V at 50 to 500Hz. It is operational on any range including OFF. Voltage is capacitively detected, signalled by a tone sounding and the illumination of a red LED situated below the clamp meter head. AC current measurement and the non-contact voltage sensor do not need the test leads; all other measuring functions will require their use.
